    the weekend finally!!!!!

just a quick question... i think its been answered before but i cant find it.

ID.. as im only going to be 21 when in vegas do i have to carry my Passport around with me or will uk driving licence do?? Dont really wanna carry my passport round, knowing me id loose it then be up a creek without a paddle!!!

Also anyone know how much of a deposit we will have to pay (staying at the flamingo) looked in our booking cant find anything, i have read on the internet and some people say its $100 a day and others $100 for the whole stay.

    Cheers

ID, I always carry my passport with me as its the only photo ID I have. I dont know the answer to carrying DL with you.

I have stayed at Flamingo and cant remember them holding any deposit, but even if they do it would only be a hold on your credit card so it shouldnt make any difference to you, unless you are not paying by credit card of course:D

Passport only as mentioned before DL is not acceptable so get a good cover for your passport,

Also before you go take a photocopy of it, if anything does happen you have a copy of all your details in your case, will not allow you to travel but will speed up the time to get a new one! put it with your ESTA copy and your insurance.

If you are using the same places all the time they surprisingly get used to you, may ask the first time or even the second but that is it!

Cheaper tickets for guests, always ask at the concierge desk before you buy tickets at full price (If they are not in any of the discount places)

Also when checking in look at what they give you, I have stayed in Harrahs quite a few times and you have the nice letter on the bed offering you discounts,

So choose what you want to see, (Yes watch out for lion king)
See what disounts are in your room (Mand Bay sometimes put offers in your pack when you check in)
    Check Tix 4
    Ask Concierge

These guys basically can get you anything (They have their network of contacts) if you don't ask you don't get.

Try Presidential as they are very good and provide a bottle of champagne and a rose for the ladies.

I have seen both Jersey Boys and Lion King tickets at Tix4Tonight, but I didn't check last trip. I think they were about 20% off, but you can't guarantee they will have them.

Lion King tickets used to start at about $56. We didn't like it and walked out after 45 mins as OH hates the acoustics in the MB theatre.

    Jersey Boys is excellent.
