For example, Abercrombie & Fitch t-shirts in NY (on 5th Avenue) were $36 + tax and the same ones in Vegas (in the A&F store in the Fashion Show Mall) were $30 + tax (I think - this is from memory).
Hollister tops at Primm were $9.90, with a free $25 gift card for every $75 you spent. Plus tax.illegitimi non carborundum0 -

Sorry if all the regulars know the answer to this (like I said before I'm just starting to familiarise myself with this thread) but when were you there Froggitt and do you (or anyone else) know if there any Abbercrombie outlets in Vegas ??0 -
Thanks for the responses.
The OH and me always like to do our research and make the most out of somewhere and there seemed like plenty to keep us occupied other than gambling.
Was told "too much tits and !!!" and the shops were too expensive, this was after she recommended new york where surely the stuff would have been the same price? lol
Def not too expensive at the outlet malls already mentioned and in Macys (fashionshow mall) there always seems to be a sale on handbags and shoes when we are there:eek:. Not forgetting you can pick up a visitors card (in Macys) for an extra 11% off everything.
Also sign up at the outlet malls before you leave the UK for money off vouchers0 -
For those with an iPhone, you can get Co-Pilot Live USA from the App store for just £2.99 at the moment - not exactly TomTom but for the price it's got to be worth a go. Also, if you're not aware, you can get £15 iTunes cards at the moment for £10 (got mine in Tesco but I believe it's an Apple promo).
For those without an iPhone, I may have a TomTom 910 (with USA maps) up for sale soon if anyone's interested !0 -
SeptemberJust wondering how long most of you go for to vegas?
I originally thought 12 nights but someone I know (who incidentally hated it) said this would be far too long and keeps trying to put me off all together!
You can never spend too long in vegas , we have been 4 times now ,(next trip 93 days time ) each time for 10 days and we still havent seen and done everything.
If this is your first trip 12 days is not a problem , but probably best to stay at 2 or 3 different hotels and you must stay downtown for a few nights , honestly you will love it.I eat time share touts for breakfast 2 for 10 -
MayThanks for all the feedback on listing offers. I don't think I would have the time to faff about filling in boxes on spreadsheets, even though I use them every day, so I think I'll leave that to those who may have the time.0

I like the deals how Luci posts them now (thanks Luci) but the spreadsheet does look good, although I do agree with Froggitt about it being out of site out of mind. Can anyone update it or not am a bit confused about that bit (it doesnt take much
) if everyone can ignore this last bit... but if not doesnt that defeat the object as someone who doesnt post deals often still could find a good deal but might be put off bringing it up for someone to add on their behalf? I dont post them very often (they usually go wrong!) but when I have I would like to think they might have been some use to someone
my 2 cents :
i think that if your on the lookout to save money , then you will have a browse on here every couple days . while i agree there are advantages to keeping all the deals nice and tidy in one place , i like it how it is now as you don't have to check this thread and the round page , you can just look here .
plus it might be a hassle to update it all the time . Copy and Pasting is the only real way i used to do it , as anything else is too time consuming .
Also isn't there a place that does this already ?: The Fatwallet thread ? ( and others ) . we aren't really the same as those threads / sites ect in that we are more about talking and giving advice , with a few deals thrown in here and there ( which is a very very big thanks to the people who take the time out to post them )Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -

no outlets in or near Vegas I don't think but several regular store locations, two on the strip as Gracie mentioned and 2 others in the area (Town Square and Galleria Mall).Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

FatWallet stopped updating the current offers over a year ago. I haven't found anywhere else that keeps at uptodate list.
I want a site that I can look up and tell me what all the current offers are at a particular hotel. what site(s) do others currently use?0
