That's a shame, we're out really early in the morning on the 18th, our flight is about 9am, so we will be leaving about 6am. We're at Trump at the end part. What time do you arrive? We could maybe catch you late evening and give you any coupons we didn't use?? Probably depends what time you arrive.

Yep, all booked including the hotels. :) 3 nights Carriage House and 4 nights MGM Bungalow suite both weeks. However we will probably have one night somewhere mid strip when we are at the MGM, probably the second week.

I have found Paris for $60 which is very good for Paris so might go with that once I pin down OH as to which night.

We are there 17 September till 1 October. What time do you leave on 18 September and where will you be staying then? We might manage a whirlwind meet in the morning!

Thanks for reading my TR. I didn't know you were a member over there.

Wow Luci you are so lucky going again so quick, I am so jealous! :D

I have a question on the back of this:

1- Wait for a Bellagio offer for early Sept and then cancel Aria
2- Cancel Aria and book a spa suite in NYNY
3- Cancel Aria and book one of the MGM Grand offers.

1 - this means I have to wait for something to come up(!) Will it?!
2 - am I doing myself down by going for something like NYNY (I would go for a minimum of a spa suite)
3 - I don't want a 25min walk to the strip from my room... so I'm not sure about this option. However some of the Twitter and Facebook offers seem too good to waste.

Need 5 nights in early Sept, prior to the Encore. MB discounted as being a bit too far south!

    Any other suggestions?

I'm pretty sure I posted a Bellagio offer a few days ago which went up to the end of September.

    Found it

All change. It might be Paris for the last 4 nights instead of the MGM. Keeping my options open with booking at both of those and Bally's.

Morning Guys! Been reading the thread for months now but thought I'd chip in....

We've been to Vegas each year for the past three but I've been faffing around with flights for months now and have missed some bargains (well compared to what I can find now!)

We're really flexible on dates ie anytime Sept/Oct but need to either fly from Manchester or Newcastle. Thomas Cooks prices are RIDICULOUS from Manchester and BA isn't great from Newcastle tp Heathrow, missed out on the £400 ones with United or AA from Manchester earlier this year, anyone reckon they'll come back?

Could kick myself.... would rather have the extra money for CRAPS ha ha

Thanks, I couldn't see for looking!

Sadly it works out more expensive than my current Aria deal, which is $640 for 5 nights... the only reason I'd cancel the Aria at the moment is if I can pick up a room with a separate spa tub for less somewhere centre strip...

    indiegirl,

i've only done a quick search going back to February, but there's been quite a few offers for September @ Bellagio posted by Luci, have you tried those?

Bellagio doesn't get as many offers as the other MGM properties, so i'm not sure that the waiting game will work on that one...

You can see photos of the Aria rooms and bathroom HERE

It's not easy to see from the pictures, but when you open the shower cubicle door you walk through the shower to get to the bath tub.

The photos are a pretty good representation of the room.

Well, it looks like we have decided to give Vegas a break for a bit. As I have mentioned before all we seem to do now is sit around the pool and shop during the day, and at night we are getting more and more disgruntled with the attitude of the whole place. It's relentless chasing of the young So-Cal dollar with the "Ultra" this and the "Ultra" that really irks me. The place has changed from the Vegas we first went to, with all the hotels being built now looking like New York sky-liners instead of the imagination once shown. I thought after the 8 month lay off we had that things would change in my head but it has only hardened. We have had a good run though, 30+ trips to date, and we will be back, just not with the frequency of the past. For now the next trip we have planed is September to Atlantic City, that should be an eye opener. It is more to be used as a base, I was born and grew up not far from there and want to show Tracy around, go to Philadelphia and New York, and use AC as night time recreation. My mum and dad used to take us to the shore there for holidays. I have been reading some of the forums and it sounds totally different to Vegas so quite an adventure. God knows how T is going to cope with the boardwalk in her heels, but all part of the fun.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
