Okay guys some great news to share . Me and Mrs Trets have just returned from the Hospital and are thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child on 1st of December. today was our 12 week scan and everything showing okay so far .

Obviously trips to Las Vegas are not going be possible for the forseeable future , but i will still be a regular visitor here . i'm sure you will all understand if it's not quite so regular , and i have less advice and knowledge to impart .

Many congratulations and best wishes that everything goes smoothly for you all.

You need a good couple of hours on the way out to clear customs in time. Not so crucial coming back though.

longest ever wait to get through Immigration and customs was @ LAX and about 1hour 15 mins . other places 10 mins ( Denver springs to mind as well as Vegas once, ).

worst comes to the worst and you miss a connecting flight because of delays at Immigration ect , they will stick you on the next flight out .

I've started writing the trip report today, so hopefully it shouldn't take too long to get through. I'm not good at short hand - lol

OH and me going out to Toronto in Sept, although flights not yet booked. I was hoping to tie in a quick stop in Vegas somewhere in the trip (before, mid or end of our time in Canada), but the flight prices to seem high to Canada before I get started and I'm not sure how best to connect. Anyone any ideas on best way to connect etc? It's looking really expensive, and I need another Vegas fix.... lol
