Mooky good to hear you are home. how was the baseball?

Thanks all. I'm still ploughing through all the receipts to get our expenses back from our extended holiday. And, I'm back to work now too - boo!

The baseball was good. Not that far off the strip and as we had a car, it was really easy to get there and to park. It goes on a bit though, lol, we left early as it was so cold that night, and the Dodgers were getting their asses kicked! Glad we managed to find another sports event I've not been to, so it's all good and the seats were great. I did laugh at the man shouting out "warm nuts, get your warm nuts!"
Will def get a trip report done soon. I have all my notes safe....... lol
Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!

Well, I've gone for the Aria. It was $109 on the Saturday as well (in Luci's email text it says $139).

If a cheaper offer comes up I'll cancel and rebook but I'm quite happy with $109 for 5 nights.

Worth a $50 at check-in and attempt an upgrade, d'ya think??

I thought the same my first baseball game. Bottom of the ninth, 6-0, third guy strikes out, I get up and put my coat on. "Where are you going?" "Hotel" "Its a double header" "Whats a double header?" :rotfl:

Just as well it was a double header or you would have been there by yourself otherwise!

Extremely lucky if it was major league as day-night double headers are by far and away the most common double headers.

Anyone looking for a good deal for the Venetian or Palazzo with Orbitz.com, follow the instructions here

    http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1981802

You must select car hire and hotel to get the good price (although you don't have to pick the car up) and use the promo code vegas4 to get a further $100 off.

It seems to be throwing up good offers for Bella Suites at the Venezia Tower at Venetian. The $100 off only works for the Venetian or Palazzo. I hope this helps someone.

Right, need to get into gear now.

We looking for flights for 3/10 - 20/10 cheapest we found (no stops) is £584 with Virgin via Major Travel. Is this the best we gonna get?

We have moved from the Monday to the Sunday as that was cheaper by £40pp so thinking we easy get a decent hotel in vegas for that night and start out holiday properly on the Monday.

one stop the price is £458 but thats an extra 10 hours traveling then. What do people do for 6 hours in the airport?

Are there any vouchers/cashback deals that might bring this down cheaper?
