    I had a peek in a SunCoast room last month-Very nice !!
However in common with most of the off-off-Strip hotels (as opposed to off Strip like Rio , Palms etc) it attracted a different clientele. The elderly who wanted to gamble but didn't care for the Strip, golfers (it has a good course) and the younger and poorer who booked on price and miserably took the shuttle to the Strip every day (half an hour and a cab was $40). On the up side the casino was nice and there is a free shuttle from the airport too (however the shuttle TO the hotel goes via the airport so the journey is much longer -hotel to Strip was hourly and direct)

There was some decent malls nearby but personally I wouldn't consider staying there unless I had a hire-car (and I NEVER hire a car in Vegas :) )

    Have a great trip Luci
There's a few minor changes to Donny and Marie -more are planned but I think have got put on hold until Marie is stronger.
Donny's voice gave out totally mid show when we last saw the show-it turned into the Marie with Donny show -but she was fabulous and I suspect most artists would have cancelled. (It was a cold with allergies on top so shouldn't affect your show)

I booked tickets last night for Love when we go at the end of may, I booked through the mirage website think it then went through ticketmaster. I received an e mail with my order details but that said I would be sent a confirmation e mail that I would need to take with me to collect the tickets from the box office, I've still not received that yet, does that sound right? as was expecting it to come straight after.

Thanks Duchy. We both really enjoyed D&M last time and OH said it was the best show he'd seen, after being a bit apprehensive about going.

I think we have the same seats as last time, which were great, right behind the Golden Circle.

I wouldn't worry too much about not having a confirmation as I've never needed to show one yet and we go to 6-7 shows per trip. All they ask for his your photo ID and the credit card used for booking. Don't know if TM is different.

I would call the Mirage box office and they should be able to tell you if they have tickets held for you.

Hi all, we finally made it home. Now, all I have to do is sort out all the insurance claims. BA owe us a small fortune!

Gracie - I usually just say tickets for (surname) and hand over my credit card with my ID. Never been asked for the confirmation and I booked tickets for the baseball in Vegas at end of March via ticketmaster... no probs in collecting them. :)

Luci - love the "pre" trip report - lol

ratkarth - huge congratulations to you!

We got good Jersey Bois tickets on the day for $100 from tix4.

We booked Jersey Boys tickets 2 days before but through Best of Vegas (just logged into an internet station). We paid $101 for front orchestra seats. We were in the 4th or 5th row. Thought that was a great price for such good seats. Unlike some of the Cirque shows, I think that this show is better to be at the front.....
