Not sure if anyone is interested in Nevada (Nuclear) Test Site tours, let alone whether it's easy to apply for them if you're based in a different country (have to apply by Fax / Post)! Anyways, the new dates for the rest of this year have now gone up:

I was interested in it years ago until I read more detail...I can't bear the idea of that much time on a bus, a packed lunch, etc...just not my thing and no way is it my husband's thing...it would be really interesting, I bet...but I just can't. :)

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

seem to be able to get cheap tickets with searching "2 TICKETS TO THE MYSTERY ADVENTURES TOUR IN LAS VEGAS" on ebay.com

At least one thing is incorrect in the auction - they only have the 1pm tours on Saturday and Sunday unless they have changed something and not updated their website...just in case anyone does go for the auction on the basis of the information in it...I don't think it's correct.

  • Appolgies if this has already been posted I could not see it

MGM Grand Have an offer on that includes Room Rates from $51 per night,

The Rate includes - All Day Buffet Pass for 2 (For Each Day Of Stay)

With the pass you get up to 6 visits to the buffet per day (3 per person), for Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

The Pass normally costs $40 per person (So $80 of pass with a $51 room!)

To me thats a great deal and cuts down the expenses over there even if you don't use it all the while

I booked for Mon 25th to Fri 29th Jan for $204 all in.

(Anyone else over there those days say hello maybe meet up for a beer)

The Promo Code is MKT351 Bookinks Jan 3 2010 to Jan 31 2010

I'm sure this question has already been asked, and I have read the relevant article, but I'm still pretty confused so thanks for any answer and the patience!

Basically, i'm trying to sort out our spending money for vegas. OH wants to take traveller's cheques but I'm not really a fan. We have natwest and HSBC current accounts but i haven't heard good things about using those cards abroad. I don't mind applying for a new account but I really don't want to be messing around changing direct debits etc.

We have a barclarycard which we'll be using to pay for hotels for the rest of our 14 night stay. I know not the best card but it will be getting paid off or balance transferred when we get back.

Thanks for any help at all!

The Nuclear Test Museum which is 5 mins walk from Terrible's casino is very interesting and the gift shop has some unusual items.

get an abbey zero card, take some cash and some travels cheques for emergency
mainly use the abey zero or nationwide though very good accounts and i got a much better rate of exchange
need to make sure you have got cash though
avoid pre pay money cards (if you dont spend it all you end up in trouble and hasnt worked out a good rate)..my mum found this out after i got her to get the fx card
