I know distances in Vegas are really relative and things seem closer than they are (until you've been walking for 10 minutes and it's still waaaay over there), but Palazzo being across the street from Bellagio is a new one.
They're about a mile away from each other.
I meant in comparison to the other hotel I was considering (Encore)...The Head Honcho (does very little work)0 -
wow
where did u find that
how hard is it to get from signature to main strip ? it looks ages away!
how much is taxi ride?
Its attached to MGM by a moving walkway like at airports.....you come out into MGM near the MGM monorail station.
Alternatively, go out the main gate, and youre 5 minutes walk from PH Westgate/Miracle Mile shops.illegitimi non carborundum0 -

Hi guys looking for some advice on how would you go about doing this.
We are going to Vegas at the start on Oct this year and getting married on the 6th night we are in Vegas. Then we plan to get a hire car and go to LA then for another week or so before coming home, maybe even spending a few nights on the way there. So about 16/17 nights in all.
Now would you plan this all yourself or get someone like TravelBag to do it for you.0 -

has anyone been to or stayed at Bonnie Springs?
contemplating doing a night (at the weekend) next time we go - as it's cheap compared to some high vegas weekend rates for that weekend, and we've not done it before...!

October , NovemberWe went there in 2007. It was not very nice to be perfectly honest. Kind of shabby and dirty. It's not far from Vegas at all. We did the Red Rocks scenic loop, then had a look around Spring Mountain Ranch, ending up at Bonnie springs. We didn't eat there, the cafes looked unpleasant, we carried on to eat at the Silverton.
It was $20 to get in, which you could use as credit in the restaurants, but none of us wanted to eat there.
Spring Mountain Ranch is well worth a look at, as is Lake Harriet just above the ranch.0 -
Looks horrible on the photos!!! For the same $100, Id rather take up the Signature deal.illegitimi non carborundum0

I'm looking for a multi centre holiday including Las Vegas, LA and San Francisco anytime this year - can anyone recommend some good websites for this? Ideally looking to spend no more than £800 per person for as many days as possible...
half the fun is doing it yourself IMO . seriously what do you need a travel agent to do . for LA and SF booking , or at least having and idea of what area to stay in isn't a bad idea . i can recommend a great place to stay in SF if you have a car .
other than that , we love the freedom of not being tied down to a tight schedule and finding places to stay while on the road . a Garmin Sat Nav and Rough guide book are all the tools you need .Aaand we changed our minds again...have booked the deal at THE Hotel (thank you, Luci!) and found that we could have the last 5 nights comped at Caesars in a Forum Tower Deluxe room (the newly renovated ones - and last time we stayed at Caesars we got upgraded to the Palace Tower).
Incidentally - while the deal at THE Hotel says from $99 - some nights are actually coming out less than that.
my 2 fav rooms in Vegas then Ferf . love the Forum tower !!Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0
