luci thanks so much for posting this! i have just cancelled our reservations for the grand tower rooms which were $224 for 3 nights including tax, and have just rebooked celebrity spa suites for $227.08!!!:money:
    :beer::beer::beer:

Excellent stuff! Aren't you glad you booked direct and not through a third party?

I agree that hunting down good offers is all part of the fun of going to Vegas.

I have received the following offer from Wynn. I wasn't going to post it as it says it is exclusively for me, but I can send it to friends so if anyone wants it send me a PM with your full name and email address
Heat things up with an escape to Wynn Las Vegas and Encore this summer. Enjoy a Wynn Las Vegas Resort Room for three nights and receive a $50 RESORTCREDIT.

    From $109/night Sunday through Thursday
    From $179/night Friday and Saturday

Also, receive a complimentary upgrade to an Encore Resort Suite King at the time of booking based on availability.

Book your Summer Escape now online or by calling us at (877) 770-7937

I did click on the email a friend link and it seems to be $10 dearer.

For bookings until 10 Sept so no good to you Credit Crunch, but there's plenty time for more offers to come out.

Checked the temps in Vegas yesterday and at noon Vegas time it was only 8C but felt like 5C! Just checked again and the highest temp it got to was 56F.

It is forecast to be in the 80's Sat-Mon then drop back again to the 70's.

Tempted with this one, I have a grand tower booked for 4 nights in Aug at $55 a night with bogof buffet daily which we will use. This deal would give me a suite for $32 more and would lose the buffet but gain tube rental.

Financialy makes sense to stay with what I have but I do like a bigger room!!

in the same meeting they asked if someone had a players card and a drivers licence would it be accepted and it was a no.

It is all strange but they do not want to be part of a sting!

As you said with the passport internal us have a drivers licence or sum type of medi id where as outside they have a passport,

So trets when are you going to be heading back?

I honestly do not know now . watch this space
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

Just a quick tip about ordering wine at MAG. I used to order a bottle of Bougelet at $40 a bottle, then noticed that 3 glasses (which is more than a bottle) was was only $22.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

congrats on the birth of your son ratkarth! any names picked yet?

im am so crossing fingers/toes etc that my boyf will finally propose while we are in vegas! but trying not to get 2 excited just in case he cant afford to until after our trip which is completely understandable!

for the wynn/encore offer that someone posted above - i booked through travel republic as it was almost 50% cheaper than booking directly, does anyone know their cancellation policies? i briefly remember there being a fee.

The cancellation policy should be on your confirmation, but if not it will be in the T&C's on their site.

I must be one of the few who doesnt mind carrying my passport around with me. I dont have any other photo ID. I usually carry it in the pocket of my jeans/shorts, it is getting a bit bent but its not a problem. I may think different if I lose it tho:eek:
Becareful with the new (with chip) passports as 'allegedly' the antenna embedded can be broken which then forces paying for a new passport:eek:
