Never done anything like this before, not a great fan of heights, but thre is something nagging in my head (not the missus this time) that makes me think I might want to do this in June:eek:

Actually scrap that idea, its $100 a go.

I have a firmly held belief that bungee jumping over a hard surface of any sort is madness..however, from the video, it looks like you're not bungee jumping but being let down on a cable which slows up at the end. This I would consider, but not for $100. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    hi everybody
just a quick question i am looking to book 3 nights at the Bellagio in june and was wondering if i should hold out booking it till a week before to see if a better deal is released or book the (escape and relax) offer i have (25%off per night). Does the Bellagio release lots of offers like the other hotels?

If it's a refundable offer why not book it as a back-up and keep looking until closer your dates? You could then cancel and rebook or contact the hotel to get them to adjust the rates.

Is anyone due to fly out in the next few days or weeks and worried about the current situation? I am due to fly out on the 11th May but just a tad concerned, especially as since the last time this volcano erupted it went on for 18 months. Been looking forward to this (first!) trip for so many months! Have already decided to rebook in September if flights are not up and running by May.

Maybe I am worrying unneccessarily but cant help it!

I would be worried to, as no one knows how long this is going to go on for, just said on the news that more ash has gone up to 8km high today and will be adding to the cloud as the wind is still in the same direction, although the direction is forecast to change tomorrow

As ferf said, but just to add, hotel prices in my experience go up in the last weeks before, rather than come down
