Consider. I said I would consider it. :)

I would like to sky dive one day - and this might be a good taster in a controlled and limited environment...ultimately I'm not sure if I would know if I could go through with it until I was on the platform. :)

I think the Stratosphere Sky Jump looks fantastic and will more than likely have a go when we're there in Oct, although my husband thinks I've gone mad!!

It never occurred to me that anyone would try to do all of them within 24 hours, even in the name of internet journalism.

I've never seen a burger/bratwurst bar at PH - but we have never been for lunch. It's an interesting idea...not sure I would go to a buffet and have a burger but stranger things have happend. And I loooove bratwurst. If they had corn dogs I might just live there.

One of the things I liked most at the M Resort buffet was the Thai station - it was pretty small, but the red curry I tried was quite tasty and I rather wished I had discovered it before I had so much other stuff on my plate. :)

I'm really sorry for you and anyone else who ends up in the same situation...I've been trying to figure out how I would feel about it. I would be totally disappointed of course, but having flown back a week ago today and knowing that had we scheduled our trip 1 week later we'd be stuck in Chicago (for our connecting flight) at the moment with no idea how long we would be there...part of me thinks it would be better to get stuck before going than after you've got there. One of my colleagues was in Vegas for NAB, due to fly back on Thursday and is still there...unsure when he's got any hope of getting back. While I love Vegas and a few extra nights there doesn't sound too bad to me, the uncertaintly of just how long you might be stuck may take some of the shine off.

Still, I'm quite certain that if I were due to fly in the next few days I would not be quite so thoughtful about it and would be sad and angry (though at least I'd be angry at Mother Nature and not at anyone or anything I could actually complain to).

Hang in there and I hope everyone gets any refunds that may be coming and hopefully it will all be over shortly.

Was supposed to be heading off to San Fran then Vegas for my 21st, now looking like it's all off :( Booked all independently & insurance won't cover, absolutely gutted and dread to think how much we will lose. One day I'll get there!!! This thread has been invaluable though.
