We like the Spice Market and Harrah's for breakfast. Not keen on the Flamingo as it wasn't very good last time we were there.

I keep forgetting about Cafe Lago, probably because the first time we went for dinner it was excellent and the last time was dreadful. Maybe need to try it again.

I'm also thinking the queues are going to be massive, especially at weekends and especially at Paris which always has long queues unless you are there before 7.30am.

To be fair the week before Easter Monday morning Paris had no queues ......and Saturday morning around 9 was longer but not an excessive wait but I can see it getting much worse .

This would definitely be a deal we would be using if we were in Vegas in a couple of days time. Always wanted to see a proper rodeo but when the finals come around in December the tickets are upwards of $250 each
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Arrived yesterday after a tiresome but reasonable flight with Virgin from Gatwick. I'm sure I heard the pilot say that it was a plane that had been re-routed from the Orlando route and judging by the quarrles that mse'ers have with the plane on the LGW-LAS route planes I can only assume so as this plane was as comfortable as any I have been on! Guess we got lucky!

Not so lucky when checking in. Sent my other half and mother in law to check in using the $20 tip trick and we got one of 'those' ones. Looked upon them as if they had stabbed her apparantly ;) She didn't even want to touch that dirty money! However, we got to the room and were not happy as we've stayed at the CC many times before in the nice west tower (the tip trick usually works!). So, the other half called reception, said a few things, and we were soon upgraded to a top floor, deluxe west tower room for $40 for 8 days. Granted an extra $20 than we had hoped to pay but as its a special occasion for some attending, it didn't work out too bad.

Just about ready to start walking the strip. Going to grab a McDonalds breakfast before grabbing the Harrahs 24 hour buffet later today.

I haven't noticed any Palazzo deals in a while, or at least not going up to September. You don't say how many nights your price includes or the dates, but assuming that's the hotel's "standard" rate from their website I would hang on and see what deals come up in the next few weeks/months. There are no guarantees, but the Palazzo had suites starting from $129 (+ tax + resort fees) earlier this year so I would have thought you could do better than $329 per night!

Hmmm...I was just having quick a look on SmarterVegas for you and the Venetian has a couple of deals running for September dates, but the equivalent deals at the Palazzo only go as far as August - odd:

Celebrate Summer at the Venetian - From: $159/night
    Code: EVDHOME
    http://venetian.com/Pages.aspx?id=5289&om_u=smarter

Experience the "Suite Life" at The Venetian! - From $179/night
    Code: PVSUILF
    http://www.venetian.com/Pages.aspx?id=154&om_u=smarter

Might be worth a look unless you're 100% set on staying at the Palazzo for whatever reason?

I will be using this excellent offer :). Any suggestions on how I should divide my meals between different places? I will be having 2B, 1L & 1D.

    My current thinking is:
    B ?
    L Rio or Flamingo
    D PH
    B Paris

    (any with killer seafood/pasta?)

I like Rio, and PH not so keen on Paris for breakfast though (Dinner is good). Flavors is great.

A big BUT though..where are you going to put a breakfast, a lunch and a dinner in one day?

well... that is why I am on a diet right now and have large baggy trousers packed:p But seriously as the offer is so good it will pay for itself with only a brunch and dinner plus i don't need to leave the strip for better value meals and staying in Bally's I will be close to most of the buffets;)

Ive tried buffets several times in vegas and wouldnt bother with any of them again.
You might as well go for a meal as there are loads of offers on the strip.
Most have offers for steak/prime rib etc.
