    Hi all,

Looking for some tips and advice if possible.

Been to Vegas a few times and never really looked how to do it on the cheap but am looking at planning a stag do there for around Mar/Apr/May 2011 and want to get on to this early to ensure I get the best deal for everybody.

All leaving from Leeds so Manchester is probably best airport for it and would be looking to stay on the strip centrally so maybe Flamingo would be one of the cheaper ones.

    ...

If you're looking for cheap but central strip (and probably more Stag group friendly) I'd look at Imperial Palace or Bills rather than the Flamingo.

I have just called Flavors at Harrah's to ask about the All Day Buffet pass and they have never heard of it. Quite strange as the flyer, or page from the Empire magazine, I posted earlier looked official enough to me.

If the offer is for a limited time only, could it be that they didn't know about the offer because it hasn't started yet?

For anyone going soon, remember to order your 24/7 Magazine about 3 weeks before you go.

It is 2.30 in the morning and I am feeling stupid :( How do you order? All I can see is that I can pick up a copy on the streets there:huh:

penny - thanks for the clarification on Carnival World, that makes sense.

I asked at the Paris buffet and she said yes, this deal was coming but it had not started yet. She said sometime in April but 'they are still working on it'. I asked if it would be the case that you could have say breakfast at Paris, lunch at Carnival World and dinner at Planet Hollywood and she said 'yes, any Harrah's buffet'. I didn't ask about brunch (forgot)...but by then I felt a bit like the girl thought I was asking because I was actually considering 3 buffets in one day so I scurried away.

baza52 - it was $25 per photo - max 2 people per photo and only one cub per photo - so we did 2 so each of us got to hold the cub - we're both in both photos. Not sure at what age they get too big for you to hold. I think Chili/Pepper was 12 or 13 weeks and he was definately too big to hold (by their standards) but you will be there long before these cubs are that old. If you do go, beware that there's a massive queue at shortly past 11...many of the people in the queue are not actually waiting for lion cub photos but waiting to go through the tunnel of the enclosure so the queue moves waaaay quicker than you expect. also, they only let so many people in to pay at a time...then when the queue gets mostly through they sell the photo package to another 10 people. I got the impression this was because sometimes the cubs aren't really up for anymore photos so they close for awhile.

also saw a poster at MGM for Ka (took a picture so I could get the exact wording) which says:

Limited time offer for Players Club Members.
Earn 1,500 points in a single day and receive 2 Free Ka tickets

Or purchase your tickets buy one get one free.

I read that as 2-for-1 tickets just for being a players club member which I thought was a pretty good deal.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Thanks for checking ferf.

I just called Cafe Lago before I saw your post and the girl there said that she had heard about it, but that it hadn't been set up yet.

I'm just amazed that no-one on TA has posted about this as they are usually on the ball. Maybe we have got an exclusive here before any of the other sites. ;)

    Well done Luci!!
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
