I have just called Flavors at Harrah's to ask about the All Day Buffet pass and they have never heard of it. Quite strange as the flyer, or page from the Empire magazine, I posted earlier looked official enough to me.

Nice win to start off the trip with.

Did your AA flight have seat back video? The last time we did AA from Man it was only the screens on the ceiling every few rows.

we did have seat back TV and everything was on a loop of about 20-30 mins - but we specifically chose flights on a 777 as the 767s have the drop down screens.

And we did the lion cub photos...contrary to what I previously said, you DO get to hold them...at least when they are this small. Our cub was named Blackjack and he is 35 days old today (there were 2 other cubs as well - Lucky was one, not sure the name of the other - after us they put Blackjack back to rest and brought Lucky out so looks like each cub has photos for about an hour). It was so cool watching the trainer feeding him and burping him and cuddling him - he obviously loves them. They clearly put the welfare of the cubs first - they stopped taking photos 3x while we were in the queue so he could feed Blackjack. Only for a few minutes each time - but it was nice to see. The other cool thing was we mentioned to the trainer that we last had a photo taken with Chili or Pepper a few years ago (can never remember which one it was) and the trainer mentioned that Chili and Pepper were the 2 lions in the enclosure at the moment.

And this time, I managed not to cry! ;)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

we'll ask at the Paris buffet and report back what they have to say about the all-day thing.

if it's all day for just one buffet it's less interesting to us I think - don't like the idea of eating the same place multiple times in a day with so many options to choose from!

OK, Jamie just said that there's a sign that covers about 1/3 of Bally's facing Bill's that says 24- hour Rio Carnival World buffet for $29.99. and no, I do not know how I missed a sign that covers 1/3 of the height of a building - but as I was driving, this is my excuse. will still check at Paris if they say it can be used at multiple buffets.
