MarchGreat news!! I am so pleased for you. Hope you have a great day on Saturday.
Did you have to call BA to arrange the alternative flight to LHR? I take it the original one was cancelled?
Yes, I did call them to make sure I understood what flights if any of ours had been cancelled. The website wasn't very clear. They were great on the phone. I also suggested that if economy was too full, we'd be more than happy to be upgraded - worth a try.....

MarchCompletely off topic, but does anyone know the best way to get between Gatwick and Heathrow?
I know that there's a bus service, but not sure how long that takes (edit - 75 mins, but they suggest to leave 3 hours between connections!).... might it be better to get the express train to Victoria (30min journey) & hop a cab to Paddington and get the Heathrow express train (21 min journey) from there? Thanks
What to do? Car hire = £40 lolLove MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -
