    Hello fellow Las Vegas Lovers.

We're looking to book our annual pilgrimage to Las Vegas. Have found what looks to be an excellent deal for a week in The Signature, a hotel which is fast becoming our second home.

In the past we've been in August/September, so it's been extremely hot. This time we're looking at the first week of May. A quick Google search suggests highs of approx 28 degrees (c). Does anyone have any first hand experience of this, please? If so I'd be really interested to know. My DH is concerned that it'll be a little chilly! He handles the heat better than me. I think I'd be content with late 20s and it would allow us to do a little more exploring outside and possibly even visit the "big hole" which we've failed to do on our previous three trips. However, a big part of what we go for is the weather and if it's going to be cold sunbathing by the pool then we may need to rethink on dates.

    Many thanks!
There is no such thing as a free lunch. Its only free because you've paid for it.

Noone can have everything they want and the sooner you learn that the better.

MSE Aim: To have more "thanks" than "posts"! :T

    Hello everybody,

I'm new to all this and have picked up lots of helpful information, so thank you to all who have contributed to this thread.

Can anyone tell me if £430 is a good price to pay for a flight from Manchester to Vegas, in April, with a change of flight at Philadelphia? Also, would 1 hr 50 mins give enough time to get through security etc and onto the next flight?

We always go last week in April and first week in May or first 2 weeks in May.

The weather is very pleasant. Not too hot, but hot enough to sunbathe or go in the pool. It can feel a little chilly first thing in the morning and in the evening so a light cardi or jacket would be suggested.

That seems to be around the going rate for flights to Vegas at the moment, perhaps due to all of UK being sick of the snow! I paid £340 for flights to Vegas from Manchester with Delta, changing at Atlanta when I went there in September. That's fairly cheap for a flight to Vegas IMO, but I think £430 is pretty average!
