Hmmm 750sqft Suite in the Mandalay vs my existing standard 500sqft deluxe reservation at Bellagio, both work out same price? The Head Honcho (does very little work)0

We didn't find the standard rooms at Bellagio to be all that exciting - unless it's a fountain view. But Bellagio is much more central than MB.
Now I'm wondering if we should try MB or The Hotel rather than a Celebrity Spa Suite at MGM...since the prices are similar and I suspect that at least at The Hotel the rooms will be far nicer...but the location is less interesting...thanks for the links Luci - I have much research to do.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
MayWhat dates are you going ferf? The MB and THEhotel only go up to early April. Looks like we will miss you this trip.0

Yea, my problem is I have stayed at a few hotels and know the Bellagio rooms aren't amazing (although they are still nice) but this will be the first time for my girlfriend and I know she would like to stay bellagio for the sake of staying there... I would only stay somewhere else if I could get a nice suite for similar/bit more money. 5 nights in Bellagio was $700 so if I could find a good sized suite with a nice view for around $1000 I would definitely switch. The Head Honcho (does very little work)0 -
SeptemberBooked our flights this morning for September... after oodles of deliberation we've gone with AA - out via LA and back via Chicago. It was £35 cheaper than the Virgin direct flights but more importantly from Heathrow: Gatwick's a pig for us to get to.
I'll be wishing the next 8 months and 28 days away!
Looking at Ballys and TI this time around (did PH last time), although would love Paris.
Does anyone know whether I'd be eligible for any offers if I signed up for a Harrahs card before we go (or get someone to pick one up for me which I could then register online)? Or do I need activity on the account for the offers?0 -
Aprilfrom my initial checking - the 725sqft THE Suite at THE Hotel is exactly the same price as the 550sqft strip view room at MB for the same dates (1st April for 3 nights) using the relevant PCOOL links. Well, duh - why on earth would you not stay at THE Hotel in that case?
Also, at least for the dates I've checked - the deals with $50 resort credit work out just about $50 more expensive over 3 nights as the PCOOL deals....and so does the buy 2 get one free deal - about $50 more than the PCOOL offer for the same dates. It may vary depending on dates though - so in some cases maybe the 3-for-2 or $50 resort credit offers will work out better value.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

You can't sign up for HET's players club card online...you have to be in one of their casinos and present your passport as ID. Sorry, should have added that you can sign up for their mailing list - it will only be the standard offers everyone gets - but it's something. If you go here:

SeptemberThanks Ferf, annoying though, that is... what a shame I can't grab a card and retrospectively sign up. Never mind, the email offers it will have to be for us, for now...0
