    Hi all,
My brother is thinking of stayin at Planet Hollywood. I have no experience of this hotel at all - does anyone on here stay there regularly or know the best place for deals for this hotel? At the moment the cheapest he can find is £365 for 7 nights in June/July. Does anyone know if this is good?

Are there any rooms better than others etc?

    Any opinions/suggestions welcome!
    Thanks.

crikey... this thread has been busy today!

    Clubcard points
those with clubcard points, don't forget the double airmiles offer is still on till 21st March... http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/product.aspx?R=236
that's how we're going this year :) although obviously you can't have redeemed your points for airmiles previously!
costs around £210 in Tesco Clubcard vouchers for 2 free return flights to Vegas - we had £166 so had to pay £190'ish in cash as well (I think)
there can be limited flight availability but definitely worth it (well was for us!)

Harrahs Offer - free slot play
Also, there's a Harrahs offer on - not sure how the prices work out but:
    http://www.harrahs.com/hedgeyourbet/?ed_rid=K4M26E-QR-DI8U-ID-7G683-v1&ed_mid=1436479&social=PLV_fb_0308
What’s your favorite Vegas perk? Time and time again we hear, “Free slot play!” We’ve heard you!
Reel Rewards free slot play is an exclusive, Total Rewards member benefit, and now through April, you’ll receive Reel Rewards when you stay two nights and sign up for a TR card at any of our stellar Las Vegas resorts.
Depending upon which destination you choose, you’ll get up to $75 in Reel Rewards free slot play coupons! Find out how much free play you’ll receive below.

    Wynn / Encore (AtlasChoice)
Cheers for the heads up on this place... just for comparison,
September --> Weds, Thurs and Friday = £405 (Wynn) and £423 (Encore)

The Friday seems to be the killer from what i've seen looking around elsewhere - will keep me eyes on this website tho - always good to have a new one in the bookmarks!

(Incidently £387 on www.Cityandshow.com (full payment required)) but we all know how these prices can fluctuate and vary for different dates from one website to the next :)

    Currency
Get my 3rd batch of currency from CrownCurrencyExchange delivered tomorrow (been using them since early 2008)... tho seems like i ordered ages ago! It's from one of their "Cancelled Contracts" - i won't rub it in with the rate I got but glad i ordered when i did :) they are a risk definitely, but i would recommend it's worth gambling a few hundred quid with them :)

Just checked Cityandshow and Atlaschoice for 4 nights at Wynn in Aug..£244 for 2 adults but we take our son and if I put in 2 ad and 1 ch or 3 adults it goes up to £528!!

Tempted to book for 2 adults and either hope for the best or offer to pay on check in..its normally $50 per night extra there

Hi ... That price does seem pretty good - I stayed there last year and having searched and searched for the right deal with the right location, I've decided to stay there again next month - from a deal posted by Luci a few weeks ago - £230-ish for 4 nights (including a Friday night).
It's not personal, It's strictly business.

I wouldn't tell them and just ask for a room with 2 queen beds
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

just one more site to throw into the mix...

Have a look @ Hotels.com - their sale started today for one, but also the Wynn / Encore are coming up @ £358 for my dates (compared to CityandShow @ £387, Atlas Choice @ £405)

The offer is pay advance and non-refundable however I'm tempted @ £120 per night incl. a Friday night...

Apparently 10% off codes float around too ( http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/628237/hotels-com-are-launching-their-firs )

    Morning guys

Great prices for Wynn/Encore around at mo then!

I have to admit that I was slightly worried that I had booked our room via Atlaschoice too quickly given the info above, HOWEVER, for our dates

30/6/10 - 5/7/10 the prices are as follows:-

    Atlaschoice - £425
    Netflights - £494
    Cityandshow - £609
    Travelrepublic - £631
    Hotels.com - £661

    Direct with hotel (with 25% off approx $1,129 @ 1.5) - £753.

The MASSIVE difference in price is what was concerning me about booking with Atlaschoice, but, there appears to be quite a few people on the site as a whole who have used them ok - so, it will be interesting to see how tingtong gets on in 8 weeks!

RE Planet Hollywood - thanks for feedback. I have done a bit of digging last night and it strongly appears that Atlaschoice give the very best price for that hotel on our dates also!

    Steff ;)

If the OH is interested in pool holidays - then go for something like MGM or Flamingo. What reason does she not fancy vegas?

not sure really, probably cos she thinks she will lose me to the tables....
but i'd rather go to grand canyon hoover dam again, shopping, and i love hitting the night clubs, the playboy club 50 stories up with best view in vegas is amazing. sure she would love clubbing there. I think the more i can put towards it via clubcard the less she has to pay and cant really argue, if not ill go with my mates again and stay in a state of constant drunkness after discovering the waitress love supplying you with baileys...
