We saw O last year at 25% off as there was an offer on the Bellagio website at the time. It lasted for a few weeks, but was the first and last time I have seen discounts for O.

Jersey Boys is often at Tix4Tonight, but not half off, maybe $20-30.

There are always offers for Ka all over the place and often on TravelZoo.

Excellent news Steff! I bet you are so relieved. However I am a bit perplexed that they have replied to you as if you have already been married! I guess they are inundated with queries and just have a standard email to send out.

I can see a few big law suits of Katie Price v Sun Journalist, the Wynn v Sun Journalist and the Rev Henney v Sun Journalist.

Guys any suggestions on where to book a grand canyon trip ? helicopter or plane ?
If i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.
  • I didn't think that Rev story would be true! Dare i say i feel sorry for her the utter rubbish they will put in the tabloids.

Not fair for all the hundreds of British brides that have been married by him before - must have caused a lot of stress/worry for people, imagine you where flying out last few days, id have been having a heart attack!

He should sue them, defamation and all that - i would.

Im loving all the wedding planning on the board. Cashman at the Wynn do excellent wedding pics, im excited for you both :)

Looking to book a couple of Cirque shows for our forthcoming trip
Has anyone seen the Viva Elvis show....if so what did you think of it
We want to book 'O' and Ka anyway....is it best to book through the Cirque website or can you get tickets for these shows cheaper elsewhere....I think I've seen Ka at the Tix booths but never O

You've probably already checked, but Smarter Vegas have a couple of Cirque offers:

    25% off 'O': http://www.smartervegas.com/shows/o_by_cirque_du_soleil/ticketsdiscounts.aspx

    50% off Ka: http://www.smartervegas.com/shows/ka_-_cirque_du_soleil/ticketsdiscounts.aspx

Only up to end of March so far though which I think is too early for you, but could be worth keep checking back with them. Otherwise the Cirque website is the cheapest I've seen so far. Oh, or maybe the MGM &/or Bellagio websites? MGM at the moment have a couple of offers listed for Ka, but again only for March I think.

Yeah, I booked as soon as I saw it on Saturday - 7 nights for £539. Also got my voucher immediately so hopefully won't have any issues. Did have the Wynn booked but as it was in $, it worked out more expensive due to the current ex.rate.

At least by paying up front now, I have got a 'fixed' price for my room. Only 8 weeks to go now !

    Nice one ting!
You will have to let us all know if your check in goes ok and everything! Do you think it would be a good idea to ring the Encore to see if they have got a note of our bookings on the system?

I guess I am just being overly cautious cos of the unbeatable prices. I have used Superbreak and Octopus Travel who also issue vouchers so its not a new concept to me.

8 weeks eh? It will fly by!!

Have you got your $ yet? I got £1k @ 1.65 at crown currency about two weeks ago - think their best rate now is about 1.52 or something! It took me AGES to get my head around that one (paying before you actually get anything!) - I missed out on 1.75 thanks to my suspicious nature....

    Hi sarah!
I know - poor Rev!! I have been exchanging emails with him regarding personalising our ceremony etc and he sounds lovely - great sense of humour. I cant believe they can print stuff like that - completely untrue. I am sorry if I alarmed anyone on here - it wasnt my intention.

As you may have seen above - I have now booked our five night stay at the Encore - will have a lovely few days there before and after the wedding - it will be our dream come true. :T

    Hiya luci,
Yes - its very good news!
As you say, they probably sent out a standard email to everyone - we definately arent married yet :)

It will be interesting to see who sues who! How one individual can just make this up and then its in print and people like me think there may be truth in it - scary eh?
