We had Jersey Bois ticks from tix4tonite over Xmas. Loved it. Wasnt half price though....possibly around $100 for average tickets.

The offer is for Front Orchestra, and is about $100 per person. Mezzanine tickets normally would be [STRIKE]about $80 without an offer[/STRIKE] $65 without an offer, so not sure if better to wait, as I expect as usual, any seat in the theatre would be pretty good..... hm. What to do.....

Thanks Steff. Any idea on how many photos they take for you to choose from? I've been reading up on their website, and the Simplicity package for example has 100 images to choose from. If that's the case, being able to choose a la carte would be great, and the cost isn't prohibitive either! :)

Also, the info you posted stated use of the "Wedding Salon", but I can't find it on their website. Do you know which one they are referring to?

The OH will be phoning soon, but a heads up would be great :)

    Thanks

    Lexis

    Hi Lexis,

Sorry - I missed your post (above)!

Im afraid I dont know how many images they take - all I do know is that we havent upgraded at all and are happy with them taking candid photos throughout our ceremony - we have been told that an appointment will be made with them the day after to review the images and choose what & how many we want. I am sure they will take good ones as they will want to sell them wont they? Single prints are $10 - $20 each - so, we are thinking we will buy 10 - 15 in an album.

I would say the main thing is to be happy with which package you choose. We will do our own photos at various places in the Wynn/Encore hotel. We are also having a DVD, so that will do us!

As for "use of the wedding salon" the Wynn has several different ones. The one included in the holiday ceremony is the Lilac Salon as the guest count is limited to 16 (chapel can seat 65) - any more guests than 16 you cant have the holiday ceremony (its not a problem for us: guest count - 4!).

If you click on the link below and look at the bottom of the page, you will see the different wedding salons - lilac, lavendar etc.

Hope this helps - keep me updated :)

We are a couple of weeks earlier - 24 June 2pm - starting to panic now as its coming up fast! We have Lavender Chapel.

If its true then the Wynn is going to have to do something to appease all those people who have been married by him!

Comptastic! Almost wish it was us now?

How exciting! Good Luck with all your final preparations! I found the wedding planners very organised (so far) and thus far all is going well!

Updated OH about Rev Henney debacle and he said same as you - the comps would have been amazing if you were one of the unlucky/lucky ones whose marriage was null & void!!

Ah well, I havent heard back from Wynn yet - will post when I do!

It's very rare that I've seen O with any sort of discount, I got KA through an offer on the Cirque website one of my previous trips.

Can't remember what's in the half price ticket booths.

I've found 40% off Jersey Boys and 30% off V at travelzoo and also wanted to know if either pop up at the half price booths?

    http://entertainment.travelzoo.com/las-vegas-entertainment/

Thanks for the link I'll have to keep an eye out for later dates...these are only for March and May.....never mind I'm sure something else will turn up nearer the date....nothing off on the Cirque site atm

    Guys,

Ive posted on here a few times and found you all so helpfull!! :) So here I am again!

We are looking at going to vegas 20th-29th November. Would like direct flights and looking at staying in the mirage.

Have been looking since about Jan and prices really havent changed so wondering whether to just book.

Best deal I can find is £750 each. I have tried to price separately but coming out quite expensive.

What do you guys think? Is £750 bad?

    Thanks again!!

    Am,

We love The Mirage too, have you looked at Expedia, I am certain it will be less than £1500, with quidco cashback and getting nectar points will work out cheaper. Depends where your flying out of?

    Hi all,

I have now had a response from the Wynn RE Rev Henney as follows:-

    "Dear Steff,

Thank you for contacting us regarding your marriage previously hosted at Wynn Las Vegas by Reverend Mose Henney. Please know that Reverend Henney is a respected member of our officiant staff and has been such since April 2005.

Late last week, we were made aware that an individual was asking questions about whether or not Reverend Henney possessed a valid license. Even though we were confident of Reverend Henney’s status, we contacted the Office of the County Clerk, Marriage Services Division to confirm that Reverend Mose Henney is legally authorized to perform marriage ceremonies in Clark County Nevada. We have received verbal confirmation from Clark County that Reverend Henney does indeed possess the appropriate licenses. We have also requested written confirmation from Clark County. Once we have received the letter from Clark County we intend to forward it to you immediately for your records.

We certainly regret that the action of one irresponsible “journalist” has caused you such unwarranted distress.

Should you wish to speak with me directly, I can be reached at the contact information detailed below.

    With respect"

AMAZING what the papers can fabricate eh?

Just been fiddling around with a few more dates on Atlaschoice, you can get 5 nights in Encore (Sun - Thurs inc) for £310, or £252 for 4 nights (in May).

If you do have a look, make sure you try a few different dates - I put in 3 nights, then 4, and 4 nights were cheaper than 3 !
    Hi tingtong!

Thanks for the above tip - I have just booked a 5 night stay at the Encore in July for £425! AMAZING price - very happy. (Average £85 per night wed/thurs/fri/sat - independence weekend!). Next best I can find is netflights (thanks to pennylane) for £465.

As you say above, 4 nights was cheaper than 3 - very nice thank you!!

My "voucher" arrived in my inbox immediately - I have to take it with me at check in. dmg has used them before with no problems, so I am hoping all is well!

Let me know if you decide to book with them - and you lexis!!

BTW - I checked some other hotels on Atlaschoice - The Orleans, Vegas and Radisson, Manchester and both were overpriced with them - so be sure to check elsewhere for other hotels.

Does the price you have found include the resort fee? $15 for 9 nights plus tax is going to be an extra $150 - just to be sure that you're comparing like with like in your comparison with booking direct.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Yeah, I booked as soon as I saw it on Saturday - 7 nights for £539. Also got my voucher immediately so hopefully won't have any issues. Did have the Wynn booked but as it was in $, it worked out more expensive due to the current ex.rate.

At least by paying up front now, I have got a 'fixed' price for my room. Only 8 weeks to go now !
