Cheapest for what and when? there isnt many on here who book packages most will book flights and then hotels seperately (usually direct with hotel)

Edit just looked on the major travel website and their starbuy is the Platinum at £90 a night..that has been available booking directly for $99 a night which looked a bargain with the exchange rate being about 1.6 at the time, not looking so good now but still better than £90 a night

    Hi all

First time posting on this thread, so all help much appreciated:) I'm working my way through the posts but am only on page 70 odd at the moment, so if any questions have been answered already sorry for duplicating!

We are intending going out on the 24th April on the direct Virgin flight. I've read all the awful posts on this, but as we are travelling with a 7 and 9 year old the shorter trip outweighs the old/uncomfortable problems cos we just want it over and done with rather than having them knackered before we even start.

Anyway, we're getting married out there and I've been drawn to the Bellagio for the wedding and the wedding night (mum and dad having the kids then;)), staying in the $450 ish a night suite (I forget the name of it).

Does anyone have any ideas about how good they are with weddings there, and are the suites nice? Alternatively the MGM wedding packages looked ok, but not sure about the photos you get as that part of the package seems a bit on the weak side...

We're only there for 5 nights in total, then we're moving on to Orlando for a couple of weeks, and I keep going back to the one bedroom suites at the Signature as our lodgings for the rest of the time there. I thought the rooms looked lovely, and it not having a casino seemed like a good plan for the kids (I remember being in Tahoe at Caesars when I was 15 and being escorted off the floor as I'd inadvertently wandered into the gaming area:))

Any comments/thoughts welcome as we've not been before. If I'm way off base with the wedding bit please please let me know!

    Thanks:)

    Lexis

Just as an afterthought, I have absolutely no idea what to do for a 'reception' afterwards. It's only going to be for 7 people as a definite, and possibly 2/3 friends if they can get out. I keep seeing Alize and Magiannos mentioned; are these as good as any?
