I might just try that one out myself. If we don't have a car it's bussable. Sweet tooth syndrome is a !!!!!, but it needs to be satisfied.

looks like the cheap fare buckets are all sold for 1st June LGW-LAS, its coming up as full economy Y fare, outward day before or day after is a lot less

and checking flight loads, only 4 Y seats left on 1st June

thanks for that, looks like a busy flight to vegas, luckily we're PE so all being well will be away from any potential carnage.

for those same dates, PE (lowest) out & economy back is coming up as £100 less than the economy return

Still so jealous! Can't wait to hear about it when you're back. I've signed up to be notifed when the next lot of tickets go on sale but not holding out a lot of hope as the only weekend for our next trip is Easter and I could see Easter being one of the times Garth had negotiated out of so he could be with his family.

Garth was amazing...he was on for nearly 2 and half hours...

Songs from George Strait, Merle Haggard, to Simon & Garfunkel, James Taylor, Cat Stevens. Elton John and many more. He chatted with people he noticed in the audience, some wearing old tour T shirts, group of girls with green cowboy hats from Dublin. He played/sang several requests that people had asked for.

His wife Trisha joined him on stage for a duet, and a couple of her own songs.

He also mentioned that after this residency at Encore, he will be going back on the road with his band, world tour in 2014, and that the ticket prices wont be as expensive

Thanks very much for the info - glad it was such a great experience - makes me hope even more that one time we'll manage to be in Vegas AND get tickets for one of his shows. I've seen Trisha live too maybe 10 years ago and thought she was great...so that would be a big bonus. So so jealous but so glad you had such a great time. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Has anyone stayed in a bungalow suite or celebrity suite? (MGM) How do they compare with ordinary rooms, what is view like etc. I have always been disappointed at MGM.
