    The Red Room is normally $40 extra a night and personally, I didn't think it was worth it. However we were upgraded FOC when one became available as were checking in.

    We preferred the P Room even though it wasn't refubished as it seemed bigger and was in good order with 2 windows instead of one.

    You can read my reviews of both HERE

    Are you sure that rate includes breakfast as it isn't normally included? Who did you book the hotel with?
    Same here,
    We preferred the P room so might be best to ask for an upgrade to that instead of the Red room. And just a suggestion, $20 for 12 nights is an insult IMHO. I always go with $40 for 7 nights and they then tend to work extra hard looking for you. I would think $60 would get their attention looking for a P room, which is well worth the extra. No need tot worry, if they can't get you one they will just return you your money.
    The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    Does anyone reccomend monty carlo or treasure island.
    In a word.......no.

    Although both reasonably well sited, TI seems tired to me, and I dont know anyone who stayed at MC. Nor Trump.

    TI and Mirage I pigeonhole as overpriced compared to the other hotels.....you can get more for your money elsewhere, or the same for less.

    Anyone wants to guess how many guests an agent checks in daily? If even only 15 people pay the $20 that is $300. Say two days a week that is $2400 a month and nearly 30k a year tax free :eek: not bad!

    hmmm...maybe a new career beckons

    I was slightly confused when I first read this as I was getting a different price for your dates, but suddenly realised your prices are probably including tax - correct?

    For some reason the first 2 days of your stay are more expensive at the MGM - $83 + tax for the Mon/Tues compared to $55 + tax for the Wed/Thurs (in fact, every other weekday in June except these 2 is $55!). I can't think why, as it doesn't look like there are any conventions on those dates - perhaps someone else can shed some light on this?

    Whilst I think $55 is a good midweek rate (in fact it's exactly what we are paying for the same rooms at MGM in October, although with slightly different bits included), I would say from what I have seen so far that $83 should be beatable. If you're happy with the MGM price though you could book it now as a back up and see if anything better comes along in the meantime.

    Thanks ferf!
    He will be staying alone - so, if it saves him quite a bit, then I make the reservation in my name, check in with him - add his name at this stage and voila?! He can use the room on the better rate and I can happily go back to The Orleans with my OH. Do you think this will work?

    Will work 100%

    Hi luci,
    Just wanted to say "thanks" for always posting such great deals!! Where do you get them from?!!

    The one above would be ideal for my june/july trip as we are waiting to book two nights at either the wynn or encore as a treat during our 14 night break HOWEVER, its not applicable for my dates.

    If you come across any deals for Wynn/Encore for Fri July 2 & Sat July 3 could you pls let me know? (I know its more expensive on a weekend, but theres no way around it).

    Thanks in advance :)

    I get most of them emailed to me Steff and as soon as I get them I post them on here.

    Don't often get anything from Wynn/Encore, but if I do, I'll post it for you.

    It's a bit early for July, but hopefully get something in a couple of months.

    We have booked the MGM through the Crazy 8's offer (posted by luci I think very early in this thread) - https://reservations.mgmmirage.com/bookingengine.aspx?pid=001&host=promo&code=MGM035&kbid=1518004

    You get;

    * 2 for 1 daily buffet
    * 2 for 1 drinks at the four main bars
    * 2 for 1 admission to Studio 54 or Tabu
    * 2 for 1 gym access

    While your four nights stay in the Grand Tower rooms would still be $309.
