There are 2 MGM promos at the moment offering the same incentives but room prices (for our dates at least) are nearly half the price compared to the other deal

    MGM Craxy 8 deal : https://reservations.mgmmirage.com/bookingengine.aspx?pid=001&host=promo&code=MGM035&kbid=1518004

8 Ways to save deal: https://reservations.mgmmirage.com/bookingengine.aspx?pid=001&host=promo&code=MKT386&kbid=542076&sub=ws

Our costs for 7 nights have gone from $823 to $493 in a flash

I have 4 nights booked in AUG grand tower for $55 a night it is now $88 a night on the same 222 deal

I would love to, but last time I priced flight they were well over £700pp with BA. Haven't looked at connecting flights so may just do that.

We really enjoyed being there in September last year.

Bit late in the day but travelling to LV on Saturday. Will I be able to get a better rate of exchange out there or should I change money here. Got a few dollars the other day to see me through at $1.523.

If there is a Travelex at your departure airport i would order online and pick when you fly. the rate you get online is far superior to the show up at the desk rate . Travelex also do a price match promise if you email them the same day with the better rate found . search forums and travel money section of MSE for more info . Be warned though paying on a visa or credit card will see you incur a fee from card provider .
Taking friends to Vegas in May. Their first time we have been several times. It is BF 50 Birthday and we would like to take him to see a show to celebrate. any ideas??? Elton would have been good as he is massive fan but now Cher is there in his place and not sure it would be as good!!! Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

not so great reviews for Cher show from what i have read , besides which her , Bette Middler and elton alternate in the show and slot .

have you considered a Cirque / Cirque type show ??
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

But I need a connection from Aberdeen and by the time I bought that separately, as there is only FlyBe that go to Gatwick from Aberdeen, I would be as well with BA. You don't get the option of choosing ABZ-LAS on the Virgin site so I probably means buying the tickets separately which is dodgy if FlyBe cancelled for any reason.

Elton finished at Caesars last year and Bette finished on 31 Jan so there is just Cher at the moment and the odd guest act.

Luci we have the same problem...nothing goes from Cardiff ..... Bristol only does Continental flights with one change....so if we want to go to Vegas it means we have to travel to another airport...Gatwick or Heathrow are the easiest for us as there are less train changes on the journey(we still have 3 though)

How long does it take you to get to LHR/LGW? If we took the train it would have to be the overnight sleeper to get there in time. Even to get to Glasgow is 4 hours and that would be a connecting flight.

Might have a look at connecting flights as I'm not paying over £700pp. I think it was around £750 last time I looked.

Our other option is a Mexican Riviera cruise and a Vegas stay, but it seems like a lot of hassle with internal flights, etc.

We go up the day before and stay overnight at a guest house.....takes 6-7 hours by train with the changes ....train fare last year on an open ticket was £145 for the 2 of us....overnight stay was £60 for b+b .... lovely place and they pick u up from Gatwick after you do your bag drop and take you back the next morn...free of charge
