    Hello all,
Currenlty researching a nice place to have a "bit of do" when in Vegas.
I have researched various options and Maggianos - Italian in Fashion Show Mall seems to be quite good (8/1,000's restaurants on Trip Advisor)!

Any one here had direct experience of eating there? Any tips/warnings/recommendations etc...

I am thinking of the "Family Style" lunch menu for a group of 8-12. Am I right in thinking that Family Style is where you choose a couple of items from starter, salad, mains and then share them around? I think thats what it is....

    Hope someone can advise.
    Thanks in advance.
    Steff :D
This is a really nice place, have eaten there a couple of times! Would be perfect for a large group, but be careful, the portions are just huge!!!

Yes it was a bit of a marathon!

Some great prices there though and for dates well into the year, but just a couple of months ahead as they used to be.

The Luxor pyramid rooms are now close to Bally's classic rooms. Anyone has stayed in both and can comment on the merits of switching to Luxor?

    Cheers

Personally I wouldn't switch from Bally's to the Luxor. It's too far south for me. Bally's is centre strip.

We've stayed in both and I wouldn't choose Luxor over Bally's - firstly for location like Luci mentioned and secondly for the room size - pyramid rooms feel small because one wall is obviously at an angle. If you're in town long enough maybe try both...but to me Bally's would win for location alone - though some people prefer south strip.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

No, the price you see is the price you pay plus tax.

It may be worth checking one of the other offers I posted a few pages back.
