O - good even though Cirque isn't my thing.

Jersey boys - very good, really enjoyed it.

Lion King - We walked out after 45 mins. OH hates the quality of the sound in this theatre. I fell asleep before it started. Most people seem to like it so we may be the exception.

I want to see the Divas show - I love drag queens. To date I have not convinced my husband that he should go with me.

My OH is exactly the same....I wasn't planning on telling him they were men....just see how long it takes him to realise

Bally's North Tower rooms have been renovated but don't have the greatest views (they're also more convenient for the pool if that's important). The South Tower rooms have better views (some are stunning) but the rooms are very worn. if you go to tripadvisor and click through traveller photos - it's pretty easy to see which are north and which are south. Some people have said they have gotten renovated rooms in the south tower, but I don't think there are many.

Pretty sure with Harrah's the Luxury rooms have strip views, but the deluxe rooms are much more recently renovated.

So kind of depends on whether you want a better chance at a good view or a better chance at a nicer room.

    Example - south tower:

    North Tower

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Personally I have gone for the cheapest (south tower) rooms and will try for a complementary upgrade but even if unsuccessful the rooms are decent enough and the location of the hotel can't be beaten

    Cheers

I'm not bothered if the room is a bit dated...I would prefer a strip view....think we will probably go for Bally's over Harrahs as the latter isn't really far from the IP so wouldn't really warrant a move

ferf you would not catch me dead in the North tower rooms they re haunted, just look at those orbs!
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Hi guys.. we're in Vegas between 15-20 September.
Bought my OH a Vegas 2010 Frommers Book for Valentines. He's noticed as reading it tonight, that there is the Fall ALs Vegas Market (design) convention on between 13-17th September. Which says there will an ecpected attendance of 55,000...

We were holding off on buying hotel room unril the deals came out.. btu having seen this are we better to book early?

    Thanks,

    Kelda
