MayJust been looking at this offer had planned to go on the helicopter tour rather than the plane tour just wondered what people thin,k obviously going on the plane would save a lot more money with this offer.
I posted the offer, but nothing on God's earth will get me back on one of those planes over the GC. We flew in the middle of the day and it was a horrendous experience as the turbulence was really bad due to the rising thermals.
Only been in a helicopter twice and that was to a North Sea oil rig. If I ever go back to the GC it will be by chopper.0 -

JulyIf you are a low roller you won't be at the tables anyway, the cheapect table games on the strip will be $5 a hand B/J (if you can find any), $10 craps, and a bundle on roulette. If you do get a CW tip her well for the first round, say $2-$3 per drink (we give them $5 for the 2 of us) You will have made a friend for life
I second stoneman's advice. If you are very generous on your first round and always have the money out and ready for all subsequent rounds they will make it their business to keep coming back. We found that CW's rarely came to the craps tables at The Orleans (an off-strip casino).
First time we saw one we tipped exceptionally well and she kept on coming back - despite the tip not being AS generous afterward.
Further point - I think that Casino Royale have $5 craps and they are on the Strip- what about Bills Gambling Hall - I think their craps may be $5 too?
Not everyone who goes to Vega is a high roller - so dont worry, they are used to it!

I am not going to be driving so do I just need to take the photocard part or do I need to take the paper bit as well???
Thanks.
I carry my driving licence card around - not the paper bit though. I use it mostly for ID when out shopping and using my credit card. We don't really do clubs so don't know how difficult it might be to use it for this......Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -

In general buying passes for clubs online will NOT allow you to skip the line. There are a couple of exceptions to this. I THINK these passes might actually work...but they're the only ones I know of.
The only other sure fire way to get in if you're in a group of guys is the Palms wristbands, for entry to Rain, Ghostbar etc...
Girls for free entry just get yourself on the guestlist. Guys, you're going to have pay cover or grease your way in.
Lots more info on clubbing in vegas here: https://www.jackcolton.com (don't forget to read the forums) since there's no info on the first page some links to this site might be useful. The front of line passes from vegas.com do NOT work. If you don't look right, you're not going in. If you're hot girl you can skip the queue anyway. This is all relevant to the hotter clubs, such as Tao, Vanity, Tryst, XS, Pure, Wasted Space, Jet and Haze. The other clubs are less difficult to get into.
After my last trip my new purposes in Vegas is clubbing, there's nothing else like it!If you're young and like a good time, you've HAVE to try clubbing at the ultraclubs in vegas!

JuneI got talking to some lads last year who paid someone over $600 for 'VIP entry' to LAX. They tipped up on the night, flashed their VIP voucher at the guys on the door, expecting to be waved through on into the club. Except the voucher was a fake and the guy was a bit dodgy and the guys on the door laughed them outta site but let the lads thru as the agreed to shell out a few hundred dollars more for bottle service.
I fancy a visit to the ghost bar this year would anyone recommend it ?0 -
Lol - yeah, I think that happens a lot.
Even paying for bottle service can leave you hanging around for ages waiting to get in, which is just laughable at the prices they charge! $450 a bottle, plus tax and few hundred to tip the host, waitress and security. You're looking at 1500 min (since there'll be a 2 bottle min most nights).
Haven't been to ghost bar, but if you're going to the Palms club on a weekend get a wristband from the Stuff shop at the Palms, it allows entry to rain, ghostbar and the playboy club, and DOES allow you to skip the line. It's about $50 I think.
Seriously, look at the site I linked to...helps a lot to figure out the weird ways of vegas clubs.
Also, bear in mind that a beer is $7-10 and a mix drink is $12-18 in the top clubs...not exactly money saving, but so worth it! (order a mix drink with out ice to maximise the acohol content!)0 -

January , FebruaryCan anyone suggest a hotel near the Luxor that would be cheap on Saturday night? My obvious choice is Excalibur but that's coming up more expensive.OD Girls On TourBarcelona 2008 - Dublin 20090
