A list of the resort fees charged by some casinos and a list at the bottom of who currently doesn't charge.
This list is usually up to date, but apparently the resort fee at TI is currently $22.95 and not the $20 stated.

MarchI don't think that Bally's is the best option for 3 20somethings. It's much more plain and sedate than many other hotels as a rule (it's why we like it).
Ok, I confess, I'm still in my 20's (but only for a few months more)!
I'm a little sad that we're not going to stay at Bally's this trip, as it's for our honeymoon and we really feel at home here. At the minute, my bookings are Bellagio (with a lakeview room) and Palazzo, although these might change. I hope I'm not disappointed about Bellagio as it gets some very mixed reviews. I know not to expect the sheen of the Venetian, and I can always walk across the road to gamble at limits I can afford :rotfl:Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -
MayThe Bellagio is OK. The room is nothing special without the view of the fountains, although the furnishings are luxurious and feel expensive.
Try for an upgrade at the Palazzo, saying it is your honeymoon. We demanded to see a manager after waiting 4 hours on a Sunday afternoon and they still didn't have a room ready for us. When they did eventually find us a room, OH said it better be a nice room after the long wait as it was my birthday (true) and didn't get a reply.
When we got up there, can't remember the floor but it was second from the top, they had put us in a Fortuna Suite! Almost 1000 sq ft and no-one had stayed there before us as the top 2 floors had just been opened.
I still wonder what a standard room would be like, but we haven't had the inclination to go back after the carry on that afternoon to get any room.0 -
JulyJust while I am thinking about it - I read a good piece of advice here about taking my driving licence with me to use out and about for ID so that my passport could be left in the hotel safe.
I am not going to be driving so do I just need to take the photocard part or do I need to take the paper bit as well???
Thanks.0 -
has anyone any tips on making sure the cocktail waitresses keep coming to us as we are only low rollers. are the tables better or the slots??0

It would be the photocard as it is photo ID that is required. Some people have used it successfully, however some casinos won't due to what they perceive as a lot of fakes.
I have successfully used a photocopy of my passport as photo ID for using a credit card, cashing travellers cheques, picking up show tickets, etc.
It has only been refused twice in 10 trips to Vegas and that was at Caesars check-in and the Sahara player's club.
I have never been carded for getting alcohol or getting into clubs unfortunately as I obviously look over 21.
If you are lucky enough to look under 30 they may ask for the real thing.
No harm in carrying the actual passport for a couple of days just in case, but trying a copy and if it works, leave the passport in the safe.0 -
MaySee one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World from the air with this companion discount from Papillon Airways: Buy one full priced ticket at $118, and get the second ticket for just $59 -- That comes to $88.50 per ticket.
The four-hour tour is available on daily roundtrip flights from Las Vegas (includes transportation to and from hotel). Tours fly over Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, the Colorado River and the West rim of the Grand Canyon.
This deal is valid on flights through May. Tour space is limited, so book early to secure seats on your desired departure date.
Book by Feb. 28: Click here for tickets and more information. Tickets must be purchased in pairs. Note: Tickets will include an additional $19 in fees.
Just been looking at this offer had planned to go on the helicopter tour rather than the plane tour just wondered what people thin,k obviously going on the plane would save a lot more money with this offer.0 -

Never had a problem getting free drinks while playing the slots, even penny ones.
Some people say to tip $5 for the first round and $1 a drink after that, but we usually tip £2-3 for 2 drinks and have almost always had regular service.
Some casinos are better than others and some areas of the casino can be better than others. The IP is really good, but not everyone like that casino. The first time we went to the MGM we had a bit of a wait, but last time the CW just kept coming by and saying, "Two more?"
We always get the tip ready as soon as we order and the CW's appreciate not having to hang around till you rummage in your purse or wallet.0
