January , FebruaryFor anyone going next week:

Roll on the 4th and hopefully LVA MRB arrives in time as well. :j:j:j0 -
AprilThat's a point - I have a Dollar car booked with CH3000, do you pick up from the terminal? Most of the others seem to require a shuttle to a central point.
Thanks
All rental car agencies are at the consolidated facility now - so all require you to get a shuttle...edited to add - now all agencies use the same shuttle, so in some ways better than the old days where you saw a shuttle for every agency but yours go by (usually 3x)
If you sign up for Dollar Express (free) you can then skip the queue at the desk upstairs at the facility and go straight down to the counter by the cars - can save a lot of time.

October , NovemberAria for $109 a night.
Must be a MGM playersclub member. You receive $25 in free play as well.
I have just logged in to my account on the link you provided and got a "You are not eligible for this offer" message. I don't play much at MGM properties, and then only slots and VP, so I'm not really surprised.0 -
Aprilin trying to check the Aria offer it reminded me that 2009 win/loss/tax statements are now available for MGM (and Harrahs) websites.
Always interesting to see where we did well and where we did badly and how it actually compares to our recollection.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

If you go to their site and put in your dates you'll see the terms for cancellation...a straight booking without any offer code says:
48 hours notice required to cancel and receive refund of deposit.
Sometimes special offers have different terms so it's important to check as some are non-refundable...but in general booking direct usually allows for cancellation up to 48-72 hours.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
MayI have a booking with booking.com and checked the cancellation T&C's before I made the reservation. They were the same as booking direct with the hotel, 48-72 hours notice.
However as ferf says, special offers may have different terms and you would need to check the specific offer.
Have you tried https://www.luxurysuitesinternational.com for the Signature? They do have a fee for cancellation/amendment so you would need to factor this in before booking, but they are usually cheaper than going through the MGM.0 -
AprilOn restaurant.com - it looks like for The Cafe at The Hotel and Raffles at Mandalay Bay that they have taken off the 'dinner only' part...with the current 80% off code of BONUS it would now appear that you could get a $25 voucher for $2 with no minimum spend - only 2 entrees is required. They do add an 18% gratuity...but looking at their menus it seems like it would be possible to get away with not a lot more than a $25 spend and effectively get a meal for 2 for $2 + tip.
Not sure if this is an error on restaurant.com's part or not...I'd asked them about the voucher for The Cafe only being good for dinner when The Cafe is not open for dinner...not sure if the updates are related to my question (probably others had the same question too)...but seems like it could be a pretty good deal.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Septemberjust booked our car for Easter with CH3000 (still grateful for all you guys for suggesting them)...it's almost like booking hotels with priceline for me - the few moments after you click the pay button until you get the detail of which which rental car agency you're with. I get far too excited when I see Dollar on the voucher since it means I can skip the main queue upstairs. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0
