Glad you got things sorted mrscmr, hope things go well with your business partner. I need to arrange to get myself on the half day course, it explains what records you need to keep, how to claim allowable expenses and self assessment, I've just done what I thought should be done but would be nice to do the course to see if I'm doing things properly. OH will have to take half a days holiday, they have a place in Ealing that do the course and OH works in Ealing.

Gingababe, sounds strange the 8 parcels haven't turned up, maybe the RM bag they were in has gone missing or something, can you ask in the Post Office where you posted them to see if anyone else has had something go missing at the same time.

no listings at all for me today. Posted some parcels that I sold yesterday.

Not got the heart today, It was the funeral of the son of one of my OH friends today, he was killed in ~Afghanistan at the end of December, he was only 19, and it was so moving to see the amount of people lining the streets for him to pay their respects, .

I have 3 Ebay ID's on the go at the moment, one only has 5 items listed, am selling some games for the guy in the Post Office, I've sold 5 of them but have 3 left that won't shift, the other 2 items are ones I have put on but will move them to another one when they finish and just do the 2 accounts.

mrscmr - a while ago you posted a link on how to transfer listings from one Ebay ID to another, I've searched back to page 18 but can't find the post, do you remember what it was or if not, how do I do it as I have something I want to transfer from Private to Business and can't be bothered to do it the long way. Thanks

Eastenders is on in a minute, am feeling rather tired so will go to bed early today I think, well that is the plan at the moment. Have sold 3 or 4 things today so am happy.

tmd: the transfer option only works with turbo lister. you need to back up the database... unfortunately as i never use turbo lister i cannot transfer so have to transfer manually, im doing this tonight... up to 177 listings on personal account.

child #3 is having a 3 episode simpsons fest and im sitting here with toothache doing ebay copy & paste from one account to another!

why are things so quiet?

I find it very strange, I have the proof of postings here in front of me, they were posted out on the same day! I really don't understand it & find it very strange that they all go missing, but hey ho. I asked in my local Post Office the ladies there are really good, they let me leave my bag of stuff & then pay & collect the reciepts later in the day, I have cross referenced the proof of posting & they went, I know they went 2nd post but that was on the 8 days ago.
Confused & ebay is very quiet.....

Thanks, I never knew you didn't use Turbolister, am even more impressed at the amount of listings you do then if you are doing them manually. I always use Turbolister, only thing I don't like about it is there are only 3 font choices.

Think ebay is quiet because its just before the end of the month etc...I get paid finally Monday - YAY! So my plan tonight as I am home alone with children is to put loads of things into Turbo lister ready to run for a week as I think most people will be paid by next weekend?? Sold a couple of BIN (not huge amounts!) last night so got to post those and an amazon sale this morning.

When I use Turbo Lister I write my desription on a word document, format it by using my prefered font, font size, spacng etc and then copy & paste it works a treat.

TMD, I'm always fascinated at how people have more than one Ebay ID. Do you need to have seperate bank accounts. Just how do you do it? *inserts no-longer existing confused smiley*. And while I'm being nosy, is a business account worth it, and how many sales would you need to make it so?
