Posted my very first time last sunday, 5 items of china and have checked today to find i have offers on 2 items and lots of watchers on the other items
I am so excited (sad iknow)0 -
I have an item up for £14.99 with Best Offer option, I have just had an offer for £5.75 - I give up, am going to change all my items with Best Offers as I keep getting silly offers for half price or less than half price.
Haven't sold anything else yet today, am not expecting to sell anything today or this weekend, I never do on weekends.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Don't take the best offers off TMD - just send them counter offers of 10p less than the asking price. Play them at their own game:DNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550

I cannot believe the ebay charges once you go over to a buiness. OMG its so much.
Charges are less though in several categories? The only difference is that you don't get the free listings for items under 99p but I suspect for a business you would be unlikely to be selling items at that price anyway.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. regarding ebay - I am really busy at the moment. So starting slowly is probably a good idea.
Have tried changing my email address on the user CP, but keeps coming up with error message0 -
just speculative musing here, so advice and imput desperately needed please.
Do you think it is possible to make a decent living by selling on ebay? I cant work because of illness and disability, although I list the things in our house it is only to de clutter and no way could I do loads and loads. My OH has just started a new job ater 9 months being unemployed and it is hard for me to cope when I am alone,
we were musing about him giving up his job which he hates and only pays £12000 a year, and becoming my carer and also starting an ebay business.
As I say this is probably pie in the sky, but do you is it possible with hardwork to make a decent living?0 -
Woo hoo!!!! I have more than beat my target of £200 this month and we are only 15 days in, I am so pleased to have made £235.24 so far. Got 25 items to post though!! Bring on free listing day!!!Sealed pot member #1950 - £44.79

jaynemaria... hmm an interesting thought...personally I am going to turn ebay into 90% full time and have 10% on my freelance work, but to do this will take up lots of time in being organised and i will be doing this in partnership with someone else to share the load.
depends on how much you need to make each month. i did 8700 in 8 months last year and wasnt really trying... now i view everything in a different way.
if you think that you can be strict and say do a job from home, which might be lonely at times as you are on your own, and might have lulls in sales and then big boosts in sales and you can find a market sector that you enjoy and have researched then i would say ... yes you could do this.Highest Debt £581,000 Nov 08 and now owe nothing! yes really! I have learnt my lesson the hard way!
