  • Hi guys, nothing new for me. I havent found anything else to sell yet! I opened to NPD and still no response from buyer, if I want to cancel the transaction can I? I'm really angry about this

  • Am doing better on the Business account today, sold 5 items, 4 of the new lot that I listed yesterday and today. My Wholesaler lists on Friday's so am going to see what they list tomorrow and buy a few more bits and that should last me 3 months or more and can try and get the debt down.

Got to sort this office out this weekend and start on the second hand stuff. I'm not going to worry too much about the free listing day, will just get done what I can and find the things that I want more than 99p for.

Am glad it is Friday tomorrow, Euromillions day so will be buying my ticket tomorrow. Also last day of having to take all 3 girls out to school, I prefer it when OH is on the late shift as he watches the baby while I take the other two, this week has been madness trying to push a pushchair on the snow and slush, had quite an ache in my chest earlier.

  • I too am glad its Friday! I may (whisper it quietly) even get a couple of hours to myself if my carefully laid plans for my childrens afternoon activities actually happen!! Have 4 parcels to post and going to prepare some listings for Sunday....May even venture out into the snow/slush and get to some shops! But first we have drs and toddlers to occupy us!

Am in a right old pickle, be gentle with me I am a newbie.....

Really want to start selling stuff on ebay, but as you will see from my signature, haven't started yet :( - DH has suggested I buy quantities of one or two items, save lots of time, taking photos and listing... But where do I find wholesalers?? Don't really have any items in mind, DH has suggested ipods

And how do I convert my current ebay account to a business one

I am scared  - the sensible idea would be start small with items around the house, but I only have a load of tat

Lastly, a bit of techie q, not ebay related - have subscribed to a few threads and clicked on receiving email updates - but am receiving a bit fat zero  - my email address in the chat forum is incorrect but I can't seem to change it - keep getting an error message - am trying to follow this excellent thread, but can't without keep logging on ?????

    1. personally i would try to sell things around the house first off ... dont know what sort of feedback you have but this is a good way to increase your feedback count.

    2. then i would think long and hard about what you might like to sell... do some research, see what things sell at and how often. dont go mad on stock. find something that interests you.

    3. to convert to a business account, go into the account tab and click on Personal information, then you will see your details and should say account type. there is an edit option and this is where you can change it to a business account. please remember i dont think you can change it back to personal though. if you running this as a business then maybe its time to consider your tax implications?

    4. changing your email address should be done through your usercp options. have you tried that?

    5. if you have set up email alerts then you will be getting an email each time a new post is made. but check your email address.

    good luck
