  • Just updated my signature.........£43.12 worth of sales this evening. Have the day off tomorrow, so will have time to pack them all up and look for more stuff to sell.

All I need now is for all the snow to disappear so I can get to the PO.

    Have a good evening everyone!

Good idea, but my bath is green! :rotfl:

Had an email from someone saying item not received. I sent on Sat with 2 others which have been received. What would I need to do if its lost? Im not going to do anything yet, because Im thinking it could be because of the snow x

:rotfl:My bath was once white but definitely not now.

I would send a message to the buyer to ask them to wait a little longer as the weather has had an effect on the time deliveries are taking. There is a message on eBay here http://www2.ebay.com/aw/uk/201001.shtml#2010-01-08133738

How did you send it and where to?

If after waiting, it still has not turned up, I would refund the buyer and put a claim in with RM - you will have to wait 15 days after postage as RM do not consider it lost til then (but refund the buyer before this time). You can either get a form from the PO or fill it in online and send it off.
P.S. You will need your proof of postage to put in a claim.

Hi all. Have had a good few days with my sales - almost at my January target so very, very pleased! I'm quite interested in looking at wholesale stuff. Can anyone recomend a website?? I bought some bits at an auction at the end of last year and made a very good profit. I bought 43 bra and thong sets for £23 and more than doubled my money, 18 pieces of brand new childrens Disney clothes for £28 and sold it all seperately for a profit of £54 and 600 good quality greetings cards for £21 which I have started to list. Keep up the money making everyone!! xxx

    Hi

How do you work out what your profit is, do you have a spreadsheet that you enter it all in, I just can't be bothered to keep checking for FVF when I sell anything and Ebay is my only income so I use that money for food and stuff as well as for my credit card bills.

I take all the money received in Paypal etc and minus off postage (I keep a note in my diary of these) and eBay fees taken from the monthly invoice. As my volumes are not high, it's easy for me.

Glad I don't have to use eBay profits for food and everything else; I would be very hungry ;) although might be an idea to shock me into selling properly. Very impressed tmd.

    Hi Guys
I was feeling a little bit (no a lot sorry for myself this morning!) Lower than a snakes belly ! But thanks to mrscmr, I have made a huge push forward today, I listed two items at buy it now for £12.99 & they both sold within the hour of listing. I had had 27 items finish tonight on auctions & 4 have sold. I have relisted the 23 that didn't sell. I have listed 22 new items & I have been sorting & taking photos with the help of dd1 who is 5 yrs old off school due to the snow!
Thank you to you all on this thread.
