Yesterday I got my Bronze Powerseller Status back (lost it last year just before I stopped selling my Business stuff). I got the Powerseller status back yesterday and today I just logged on and am now a Top Rated Seller, was only a Standard seller this morning. Am one happy bunny, just got to keep up with the selling and hopefully good ratings.
Still using Talk Talk broadband at the moment, charging the laptop up, I really hate these things as they set it up and the TV then leave you to put the disk in and do the set up and it's not working, any one else have problems setting up their Wireless connection? I can't be without my computer.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

Well done you
I know when I did mine it took longer than I expected but I can't remember what I actually did now. Have you been over on the techie board?0 -
well done TMD that's fab!
I had a few good sales last night. Going to attempt to get another box of stuff listed over the weekend0 -
Sold a Business item on 5th Feb to someone from Russia, just had a message asking where the item is, seems a bit late to be asking where it is, I would not wait so long if an item did not turn up. Anyway, I'll obviously have to refund but wondered if I can still claim from Royal Mail after so long.
It's for £17.45 in total so bit of a bummer.
Hope everyone is OK, got some more Business stock today so just listing all that today.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

I am new to this thread and would like some help with ebaying as I have never sold anything before. What are good things to sell? Do you all just sell stuff you already have or buy in things to sell for profit? Are there any guides that someone could point me to?
Thanks0 -

You're fine as you have 12 months, I've been looking this am to start a claim for the item I refunded a couple of weeks ago.0 -

Best if you spend a few hours, days reading this thread. There's also this thread
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=40
ebay also have their own forum.
It may be worthwhile selling things that you don't need anymore to get a feel for it.
As soon as you buy anything to sell on, whether new, or used, this includes, car boots, charity shops jumbles etc. You are a business seller & would need to register as such on ebay, & for tax. Ebay are now clamping down on this, as you'll see when you read through all this thread. You would then need to do a tax return so keep every receipt etc.
Everyone on here is very friendly & helpful however I don't think that many of us will tell you what is best to sell, as we're probably selling it. Likewise nobody is likely to give you names of their suppliers.
If you have a hobby or interest that would be a good place to start as you already have knowledge.
Good luck0 -
Have you all noticed thisForum will be closed from 09:00 to 11:00 on Friday. This is for server upgradesI'm having withdrawal symptoms already. Relax & breathe.
Sh 1 t I may have to do some work tomorrow for a couple of hours instead of talking-thinking about it.
I wonder when the next free listing day will be? I'm not going to list much at 99p, as often that's all it goes for. I know that could be all it's worth.
Hope everyone's more motivated than me,
have a good day0
