soolin - sorry to hear about your feedback. I got a 4 from someone on amazon with the comment - 'transaction very good, I just have to make time to listen to the cd'. Is that my fault?

    Hope things improve soon.

Instead of posting it out you should have got their phone number, called them & sung it to them. Why are there so many prats around?

Hi, I haven't ebayed to sell for ages but have been listing stuff on Amazon so I'm up to speed with "interesting" buyers and the joys of the postal system. I'd be selling inexpensive collectables and music memorabilia.

Is it still worth the effort??:D Is there more stuff selling, rather than hanging around? Any help you could give me would be appreciated, even if it's just directing me to posts.

I'm back from my short breat. Have lots of items to relist later this evening and now my eldest two girls are away at my parents until Sunday - yeah!!! I can get on and sort my office out and find all the stuff for the charity shop and get some stuff listed, have quite a few kids clothes that need ironing first and I never iron so that should take ages!

  • Hi everyone! Not been on the thread for a while, not had anything to sell! But got a couple of things on there now, and hopefully will have more soon as I'm de-cluttering to move house. I hope everyone has been doing well!

Alfiecat - I usually look up things then list them anyway. Its worth a try! If not it goes to the charity shop. Or you could do a carboot like hermum said.

Just relisted 32 items. Tomorrow is sorting out day so hopefully will find some decent stuff to get listed later in the week.

TMD hope you had a good time, hello to everyone else. I'm p'd off AGAIN, maybe I shouldn't be but the people I refunded the other day, immediately even though the 15 days aren't up til Saturday for me to claim from Royal Mail. I asked them if they left feedback to please not say I had refunded due to lost in the post. So today, they left pos feedback, great, saying, item didn't arrive so seller refunded immediately, great comms, nice seller. Let's just open the door & let all the scammers push their way through. I said that a friend of mine had to close her account & open another one as suddenly after that sort of feedback she had loads of lost in the post. I wish they'd not left any. Am I being silly?

Definitely still worth the effort, though for me it's mainly about clearing space than making big bucks.

Anyway, I am eagerly awaiting a free listing day as I have a few higher priced items I'd like to list. So ebay, if you're listening/reading... ;)

Thanks, had a great time, was glad to get home though to earn some money, my Endowment money has all gone now - boo hoo!! Just waiting for my car insurance to come out of my bank although when I renewed it by phone the guy only took my debit card number and not the 3 digits on the back and he said it had gone through but it's not come out of my bank yet so fingers crossed it does today or tomorrow.

I wouldn't worry too much, I don't read sellers feedback unless they have a low % ie. 96.9% then I'll have a look but only at negative or neutral. Hopefully you will sell a few more things and those ones will get pushed down the page. I wouldn't worry too much. I refunded someone the other day as they said one arm on a cardigan I bought Wholesale was longer than the other by about 2" so I just refunded as it would have cost me more for them to send it back as I'd have had to pay their return costs as it was a fault with the item. They left positive saying "issue with item resolved instantly, great communication. recommended ebayer".
