I didn't get my free £5 today, is that because I have funds in the account - will have to make sure I play it all next time then - bummer!!

  • tmd - thanks. i have said i would and just the normal airmail, so will see if she bids..... bummer about the free £5!! Hope you get it tomorrow and also win lots :)

Have been reading up on the proof of postage etc and it says you must have a certificate of postage to put in a claim - is this different then the normal receipt?? If so what does it look like as i have said to the person at our post office before and he always just says all i need is the receipt if i need to claim???

    Evening all,

Can any of you ebay experts help me. I have an item listed, it has just under 4 days left, 10 watchers and 4 bids. It's currently at £4.70. This item has gone for between £6.50 and £16.00 for other ebayers in the last couple of weeks. I have had an email me offering £10. I've never had this before and not sure if I can accept an offer outside the auction, as I don't have a buy it now on it.

    Any advice/experiences greatfully received!

    Thanks
    Sam

  • How annoying, I only needed 1 number for the £100 jackpot and what happens, I needed 43 and 44 came out and someone won (think it was that way or I had 44 and 43 came, can't remember now).

I always use the Certificate of Posting and when I wrap stuff up I write them on the Certificate and put at the end of the line what the item is (so I can remember for doing my Business Spreadsheet), I go to the PO and weigh the items and write the price next to each name and then the guy(s) there will stamp it for me and I ask for a receipt at the end that gives me a list of all the transactions.

    Hi

You can't add a Buy It Now price if it has bids already.

  • I didn't post the pic someone else did (posting pics is to technical for me I've no idea how to do it). The guy is my PO said about 2 months ago that they weren't doing them anymore as he had tried to order some but they had loads at the one up the road so I picked two up which I'm still using. I'll have to ask again when I go in tomorrow.
