Surely though the seller can download the invoice-receipt from ebay & then claim that back? Or has what you've just said gone right over my head?0

Yes, but that only shows what the person bought it for second hand, not what you paid for it when it was new, I think that is what you were querying.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160

Please help!!!! Three buyers this week have emailed me saying they haven't received their items which is a bit worrying. How do you make a claim through Royal Mail?Sealed pot member #1950 - £44.79

When did you post the items, and what postage did you use?
Panic is my middle name lol!!
I posted them first class last Thurs and Fri and they all went first class. I have got proof of postage though xSealed pot member #1950 - £44.79

Ok, well they realistically should have gotten there by now, but you have to allow 15 days for the goods to arrive before you can claim via the royal mail.
have a look at this link and it should tell you all you need to know about making a claim

I know this has been discussed before so forgive me, I know that when you start buying to sell you need to register as self employed and file tax returns etc, but do you need to open a shop on ebay when you start selling as self employed?0

l never post on a Friday because my mail seems to disappear for a few extra days - it actually gets there quicker when you post on a Monday. Main thing is don't panic just collect all you proof of postages together and wait until early in the week to see if they arrive.Ist 2014 : Win Weekend in York0

Thanks jaynemaria and smem - very helpful! One of the buyers is being really narky as if I am not being truthful - even though I have 2510 positive feedbacks and no negatives! I really appreciate the advice xSealed pot member #1950 - £44.79

Were they parcels or large letters? Would they have fitted through a letter box or not? I always e-mail people back and tell them to check with their local sorting office to see if they are holding it as sometimes a card is not left.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160
