I asked about the forms in the PO today, she gave me a wad of the pads, but said its up to me if I use them as they will still print out individual receipts.
I made a couple of sales overnight, Ive being toying with the business idea and brought three pairs of new baby shoes from a local Argos clearance warhouse and the shoes cost £3.49 and have sold 2 pairs for £7.99 so pleased there.
Downside the cards that I was hoping to be the mainstay of a business arent selling well, I think they look good and friends buy them and request them, but perhaps ebay is just saturated with this sort of thing.0 -
Just had to do my first refund today for an item that has been lost in the post
Never mind, I have proof of postage so I will send off a claim form and hopefully I will get a refund from the post office. I've already refunded the buyer. Buyer seems a bit dozy though - they requested that "this be resolved very promptly" - well, if you responded to my email I sent you at the end of January earlier than today then the matter will be resolved promptly!

omg omg omg .... too excited to even type.
we were there for 6 short hours.... it was amazing. the products were great! we got so many contact details, people were helpful nice, kind etc. our feet are dying from walking... plus we lost the car as we were so excited getting there that we forgot to look at the carpark number... duh! spent 30 mins looking for a black car amongst other black cars... duh.
had more sales whilst we were out.. love it! valentines products selling well.
willl be planning our product options over the next 2 weeks. some great stuff for spring/summer etc for everyone.
on the downside some people were snooty but who cares about them!

Just having a little catch up while i have a think about it!
mrscmr - glad you had a good day - pity there wasnt lots of freebies
I have never seen them forms before - i always have to wait for ages while he puts it all on the comp and then prints a receipt with the add on (if signed for) And if i just send it normal he just gives normal receipts and i never know what one is for which parcel?!?! Do you all normally send signed for - even for small items like clothes?? I like to send signed for but do not like to put people of bidding on things like baby clothes cost the postgae is high.....GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. Thats a shame:(, although it makes me feel better because I couldn't go this year;), at least I didn't miss out.
Its fab though isn't it. Glad you still had a good day.
I've still not completed anymore listings but am having problems with a german buyer who paid in Euros, which I don't accept, but I would have done just this once if the amount had been the correct amount rather than about £1 less! I rejected payment and now shes sent another pending payment. At least this one is in pounds thoughNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -

I have posted to Lithuania a few times, I did have one parcel go missing so had to refund.
My brother got married in Lithuania in August last year, it is a really lovely place, I'm not a fan of Europe (Germany, France, Italy, Spain etc) but really liked it there. My SIL is Lithuanian.
I just post normal Airmail abroad, I don't charge for tracking as they only track it until it leaves the country so a waste of time really (so I've heard).
Mrscmr - so glad you had a good day, sorry you didn't get any freebies.
Off to play my free £5 bingo now and the £5.00 I have left over from my £7.50 winnings yesterday (!!!!!! as I had to share with another player otherwise I would have got £15). I'm hoping to win £100 one more time before my free £5's end.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160
