ok will take out the colourful ribbons as they cause confusion!

sold lots this morning... valentines stuff going really fast..

OOh no, they are colourful, I'm just uber nosy & wondered if you added one each time you got to a certain level, I didn't want to miss the chance to join in a celebratory heav my great mass around & jump up & down because you'd added ano0ther, if that makes sense. Prob not.
It could be Firefox as that's what I use as well.
    hope that everyone's having a good day:D

ommg ... small confession... had a lady whose item didnt turn up in post, i mailed her and messaged her but she kept saying she had heard nothing... so i looked up her phone number in directory enquiry and she was there. i rang to say i had refunded etc - i think she was surprised but ok about it.

  • You can request someones contact details if you have traded with them, they send them a message saying they have sent you their details (or something like that, I've never done it myself).

Do you know that you have to have your Business Address displayed if you are a Business? You can have it on your view item page or About Me page, I read one of the new rules is that everyone has to have their Business address on their view item page from April I think. I have it displayed on my View Item page already, mind you some of the older listings it hasn't displayed it but the new ones it has.

Don't think they are too picky at the moment, all these Business rules are very off-putting.

Bit of a pain, I have my mobile as my phone number as I don't want strange people ringing the house phone.

That sounds like a cool plan - we'd have to do it as a percentage I think as we are all working towards different targets. Do most people have monthly targets? You could have a ribbon / star for 25%, 50%, 75% and a big gold star for 100% of the month's target?

I have a question about Royal Mail.... Does anyone use the free online stationery ordering service from Royal Mail? I want to get a pad of "proof of posting" forms. I'm registered as a personal customer so can't order free stationery. Would someone with a business account be able to confirm you can get a pad of proof of posting forms for free? If so, I will set myself up with a new email address to register as a business and will order a pad. I rang their customer services but they were as much use as a chocolate teapot and didn't understand that I wasn't a business. Thanks :)

You can pick them up at the Post Office, my local one I use said they didn't have any one day when I went in and needed some and he said they weren't doing them anymore (not sure if that is true), I went to the one further down the road and they had about 8 of them in the rack where they keep the forms for passports and stuff.
