The post office are now doing a Certificate of Posting - this is a card onto which you list upto 10 items and they stamp and initial and verify qty. l was given a pad of these at the post office so l can fill them in before l get there. It says to make a compensation claim you will need to produce this certificate. the cert ref is P326 PADJune09Ist 2014 : Win Weekend in York0

Cool - thank you - that's just the thing I'm after. I'll go and try the nice man at the other post office I use (when I'm feeling better - still poorly - boo) as the girl at my nearest post office didn't know what I was on about.0 -
Hope you feel better soonIst 2014 : Win Weekend in York0

but i'm always listing stuff on ebay and made £120 today on 18 items...all kids clothes bundles
it will be good to get some motivation to list.
Hi, I've only just jumped on this thread. Everyone puts me to shame. I'm a thinker not a doer, or in laymans terms a lazy cow. I'm hoping that I can get inspiration to do listings. Instead I'm spending hours on my fave threads.:beer:0 -
mrscmr, I've just come on using IE & I now see your lovely ribbons, so if definitely firefox issue.
Hope you have a good day today all0 -
You've inspired me to put some stuff on ebay - I've got 7 lots on so far, and another 6 for certain to try and put on tonight, maybe 7.
I've also been on musicmagpie and will be sending them some cds, won't get a huge amount for them but they haven't been listened to for ages and ages and it's a bit of money and something decluttered :-)Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

I mean these ones -
Are they getting rid of them?I will be sad if they do, as I like filling them out at home then just getting them stamped at the P.O when I go in. It saves me and the lady at the counter a lot of time!

These are the forms - my PO told me JAN 10 that l need to use these now previous to this the PO always printed out individual proof of postage - l am told that this is now to stop and these forms must be used.Ist 2014 : Win Weekend in York0

Ah I see - I thought you meant they were getting rid of them
Our post office has always used those certificates (at least for the past 4-5 years that I've been posting parcels regularly).
My main post office is a large branch though - I have found that it's usually the smaller branches near me that do/did the printed receipts.0
