Sounds like there is a lot of stuff coming to the surface which is a good thing because it enables you to look at it, and deal with it.
I hope the hand/arm improves soon....sounds like some ibuprofen and a bit of rest will do you the world of good.
As for the sleep/tummy stuff, it is not surprising, really, with all the "stuff" that has been going on.....maybe try some kalms or nytol for a few nights to get yourself back into a routine of sleeping?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hello there. You sound like me a bit. Last week I was very stressed and now this week my body is exhausted from it all.
You need to get some early nights. Change your nightime routine. Change the bed - I always love fresh covers.
Good meditation youtube - there'sa couple on there to help you rest. It's R&R all the way for you

Another great post from you, great to hear the sessions are coming along nicely

Speedy recovery of your arm xxx
Oh and forgot to say, your lent pledge (the one your wrote on my page) is fabulous! Something I'm still working on0 -
Thanks folks

I tend to be in bed early but night time routine is not steady as I have slept a few different places the last couple of weeks, with more to come this week as I am away with work. Normally I am out like a light no matter where I am.
The bed is fresh as I hate it not being (I don't iron it though
). My fairy lights are lovely and I love getting into bed. It's also something small and different that ex fiance has never seen and it's good to feel that I am making small changes.
I haven't tried Nytol or Kalms, thanks hypno I will try these. Ibuprofen is difficult as I have asthma, normally I can take some brands for a day or 2 but at the moment my chest is a bit tight so don't want to risk it for now. I have tried to avoid using it today apart from typing, it has swollen a bit more since this morning so might see about the doctors tomorrow if it's still bad.
feel a bit better after cooking a curry for tea. I was hungry at least so this was a good sign, but haven't had much just in case I feel rotten later.
I am going to do a few mins practice with my right hand and then head off to bed, hoping I can get some good sleep tonight!
night all x0 -
Fairy lights sound lovely

I'm off to get some fresh air into the bedroom and settle down. Night all :A

Slept like a very loggy log last night :j :j :j
combination of an early night, forcing my brain to switch off as I lay there in the glow of the fairy lights, no alcohol and not too much to eat.
I have been asked to play in a musical near Cambridge in a couple of weeks. It's 3 nights and a matinee. Normally I would just say yes and squeeze it in but am going to look at jiggling some work stuff round so I can have a bit of time to relax in between shows. It won't be much money but I have never done anything like it before so would love to have the experience under my belt.
I have a harp lesson tonight so will be playing right hand only
Left hand feels similar today but hasn't swollen any more. My teacher will take a look tonight and see what she thinks - she is a Pilates instructor as well so is very good at getting you to move properly
LittleBoots I saw an old man walking a westie this morning. Such a happy little dog and the owner was grinning at the dog - it was nice to see them wandering along together and I see what you mean about feeling happy when you see them
Am I ever looking forward to some bank holidays!
Off up north with work tomorrow so hoping to see my granny for a quick cuppa between arriving at the hotel and going for dinner with my team

Hi Little_h
Lots going on for you again. Glad you had a better nights sleep, have you tried having a nice warm bath before bed? It normally works for babies so why not adults?
Sounds like you have alot of thinking to do about your music career and finance shuffling. I'm looking forward to some bank holidays as well, hopefully we'll get some nice weather to go with them.
Hope your hand feels better, enjoy your trip up North, pack some warm clothes its bl**dy freezing up here at the moment.
Take care xx0 -
That's so great you got some sleep. You sound much better. I'm determined to get an early night tonight too.
Lots of stuff going on for you too. Talk about another door opening :A
