Buffy, 2 fab posts from Lula (:A) and makeup (:A) - I agree with everything they say. You have given me great advice in the past about not setting myself huge lists of tasks and not beating myself up when I don't manage to do them :o, let me give that advice right back at you! Please use your holidays (the clue is in the name :)) to have some downtime, look after yourself (including talking to your doctor, in my opinion), have some fun and recuperate ready for the next term

To quote Lula - remember how F Fabulous you are :j

  • I don't think I am wired right to take a break, I do spend a lot of time watching tv does that count, to be honest for the last two weeks I have let so much slide with the intention of "doing it in the holidays" and I honestly do want to do the garden. looks like rain again today sigh.

I have woken up with the worst back ache. And head ache. Think it is time of month judging by the spot on my chin (am expecting a team of mountaineers looking to climb the highest peak in Europe as I type) and the date.

Have to go out and spend money (Ouch!) on Easter type things. eggs, bunnies and the like.

Had a NSD yesterday tho. Have ever I am overdrawn due to the take the money out of account before bank holiday trick. gits.

BUT by the 18 of April I WILL be sub 9 grand. (currently 9653) Am a little off schedule to be out of debt by Nov but will shall see.

This afternoon will be spent either cleaning out the GP's and then writhing around in pain or cleaning out the Gp's and tidying/gutting bedroom. It is a disgusting hovel at the moment.

right best get on catch all later

Buffy, Lula's totally right. I'm not going to give you any advice on how to step back because I'm rubbish at it myself, but you need to try.

I really think you should see a doctor while you're off aswell. It has to be near the top of your list. You can't continue as you are indefinitely. I saw a doctor a couple of weeks ago, one who sat and listened to everything and although it was incredibly hard, it was also a massive relief and I'm hoping now I'll get some counselling and perhaps be able to turn a corner.

Take it easy, especially if you're not feeling well...your body is trying to tell you something.

Just a quick one Buffy - but could you claim for the bath leak on your house insurance?
Sorry if someone's already suggested that :o
  • Macgirl-I completely hadn't thought of that........... hmmm I wonder. thanks xxx

Well its relatively early for me on a Sunday. Yesterday I did give in to the headache and after shopping I basically went to bed!

I spent loads out shopping 23.90 on stuff for the bathroom

£4 on friends (kids) Easter eggs

15 in Sainsburys (grown up eggs for today)

15 in Morrisions on garden stuff (pet memorial garden)

So I do have stuff ready for next week weather allowing.

My bedroom is frankly making me quite miserable.Trouble is we have my Sis and bf coming over for Easter dinner and I wanted to make some cakes......don't know how much time I'll have. Can't I just grab the Gp's and the fish and light a match to the lot????????

    anyhow am hungry

    see you all later

    xxx

  • List for today

    1. CLEAN OUT the gp's before Wol sends round the RSPCA
    2. Get cardboard and make a sort of board(?) for my back under the matress.
    3. Change sheets
    4. Empty random bags I seem to have everywhere.
    5. Do one thing off the house list.

I will stick with that for now given that I will spend most of the afternoon with the family.

    I forgot to say

    :easter_ba:icotbaske:easter_osHappy Easter :easter_os:icotbaske:easter_ba

Definitely worth a go. The same thing has happened to us. DH refused to fix the leak, said it's just the kids splashing in the bath - paint over the ceiling.

When I came to paint over the offending stain - my hand went straight through the ceiling! I was distraught, mentally totting up plasterboard, plasterer, plumber, tiles to the side of the bath etc etc etc. Then my FiL said "Do it on the insurance"

Of course!!! - I hadn't thought of it either. That's what happens when we're too independent ;)
    Have a good day x

I am so angry. Its too petty and complicated to explain here, jsut another example of how !!!!ing useless my sis and bf are. Nothing will change here until I learn to drive. You can't rely on anyone.

    see you later xxx

     Oh Buffy!!

Don't want to sound harsh - but you are off work for 2 weeks, do an intensive course? I know you would have to increase your debt but speculate to accumulate - do it for you! :A
