Im entirely sure that M&S customer services do not know what on earth they are doing.. I had an order from 4th Jan, kept saying despatch 11 January, then yesterday 12th had an email saying that all the items were OOS so it will not be despatched... This morning I have just had another email telling me that all my items have been now been despatched... Dont know whether im coming or going ..... Great fun reading all the posts thou ....

I keep trying because some people on here seem to be getting good deals - I don't know why but I seem to keep missing them?

What is the best way to find the offers as soon as they go live? Is it from clicking links in your watched items/basket or is it from looking at the deal of the day on google?

i just look on the m&s site, but have to be quick and just go to checkout if desperate for something rather than keeping in basket, otherwsie you wont get it...

To be honest from previous experience with M&S online I'm inclined not to bother
It is such pot luck with stock with the website stock levels not in real time - you really haven't got a clue whether they have the item in stock or not at time of ordering and got fed up with keep checking the order to see what had vanished!

Unfortunately, yes I did use the dreaded one click BEFORE I realised it was useless. I found that when I had things in my basket (low value items not worth paying £3.50 to have delivered) they kept getting pinched by other people before I got to the checkout, so I tried using one click because I mistakenly thought that the items were 'bought' as soon as I clicked them, which I've since found out isn't the case.

The really annoying thing though is that M&S cancelled quite a few of my orders saying they were out of stock, and yet I've seen the items available to buy on the website SINCE then, and other people seem to have been getting them. GRRRRR!!! :mad:

Just to add, I nipped to the loo the other night after being on here ALL day and when I got back I saw the link to the DVD glitch. There were 20 showing as available to buy but everytime I clicked to buy it I got an error message from M&S. I then found out I had accidentally signed into one click and I'd added one to my account that way (don't know how I managed it). The DVD player is still sitting in my account history but it hasn't moved so I don't think I'll get one. I'm really disappointed as I haven't got a DVD player and I need a new TV too (for the digital change over) and I even managed to miss that offer. Sigh and weep etc...
