I emailed them about delivery charges on 4 orders placed in 2 consecutive days and received this reply within the hour:

"Thanks for contacting us about refunding the delivery charge.

I've looked into your query and I'd like to advise you that I'm unable to do this as these orders were placed at different times please note that you're charged the amount of £3.50 for each one.

I completely agree, it should be one policy for all, not different depending on the person you speak to. I guess if you are told no then phone back and speak to someone else!

That's true but to be fair, you can cancel your order and put it in one order if you're quick enough, I did this this morning because of the postage and it worked fine for me, although I did it whilst it was quiet here so less chance of people grabbing my items. If they gave everyone who ordered in the sale a £5.00 credit or waived the charges in the end M&S would go into liquidation. I can see why some are saying it's unfair, perhaps those who managed to get refunds shouldn't have posted as its caused abit of upset
