I hate to tell you but Alliance and Leicester are owned by MBNA. They were the most difficult creditor I had to deal with, but eventually accepted the offer in my DMP through Payplan.

Just thought id point out, MBNA issue A and L credit cards for them on a license agreement. A and L is listed on the FTSE 100 and is completely separate company.
    Hope this helps someone

Sending you a big hug :)

What time is your appointment Spud? I know, its the waiting that is the hardest part, once you are on the phone the time will fly & the advisors are really easy to talk to :)

When I made my first appointment with CCCS I was so scared I cancelled it then got into an even bigger mess  When I finally plucked up courage to go through with the appointment I realised that I had worried all that time about nothing!

You're doing something really positive today so be proud that you're taking control & think how happy you'll feel when it's all over :)

Sending lots of positive thoughts your way today xx

    Hi

I am a newbie, but have been following this thread avidly. Just want to say to Spud that the phone call with CCCS is so easy and straightforward, and they are wonderful people and easy to talk to.

Please try not to worry about it! I felt so much better when I had finished the phone call!!:j

    You will be fine!!
