Beanie has a very good point, it'll make it harder on everyone if this happens too often. Sorry you're feeling so down today Sal, it does leave a gap in your life whatever the reason - I remember an ex asking me why on earth I was crying as I was 'dumping' him - but you do miss the company and the good bits even if there weren't enough of them.

I don't think that OH should stay at yours at the weekend, or any weekend, come to that.

I would feel very uncomfortable if my OH came to stay here......it is no longer his home, and whilst I would not say he is not welcome, I don't think it would be comfortable for either of us if he stayed here, on the sofa, the floor, or in a tent in the back garden.....!

I know and I don't want him to stay here...this weekend will be the only weekend as he hasn't been paid yet so no other option yet. I will have to have the conversation..just feel like I am denying him time with her, but then I guess there isn't anything to stop him booking a twin room and she could go and stay with him

No he doesnt have any friends (another issue!), There is a lovely B&B down the road which I will suggest for next time. I still think he thinks that this is his house and we are just living apart and he can come and go as he pleases. There will be lots for us to talk about this weekend...think this is also playing on my mind
