I would have to be seriously ill to be able to sleep in that long, pickle!

DD on the other hand is one of those that needs to be woken up at midday otherwise she would sleep all day given the chance!

Ooh, shaun, I have no ideas at all! Is there a "diy" board on MSE that you can post on for those that are good at pipe type things?

Good luck, sounds a great deal of fun

Thanks Pania, sentence cards would be great :A This is one way of giving Em some control back - I'm sure we can create some basic ones as you suggest - as Hypno says, its about us making the effort, not always her. However, if she can let us know what she wants us to write on additional sentence cards then I'm sure it'll make her feel better. Considering Em likes her own space, I'm almost certain one of the first sentence cards will be 'Please leave me on my own" - abbreviated to "p!55 orf" :rotfl:
    .

Te he!!!! that would be funny!:rotfl: bless her I cant even begin to imagine how that would feel! :o

Today in other news OH has just asked me to remind him to put his swimming costume in his bag:eek::eek::eek: visions a la borat and mankini sprung to mind!!! :rotfl:

I'm getting my coat, no, honestly I am :rotfl:

Don't know if this would be heavy duty enough Shaun, but you could follow the Kim 'n' Aggie tip of tipping some bicarb down the sink followed by some white vinegar. Stand back as the chemical reaction makes it fizz and froth, but apparently it unblocks drains
Sorry if that sounds completely mental :o, OH's out but when he's back I'll ask him, he's quite handy and knows about that sort of thing (being a man!)

    Hope you get it sorted....

    DS has arrived.......

I am taking advantage of his season ticket and heading off to the football this afternoon - I think ours is one of the few matches that has not been called off due to frozen pitches etc. Will be bloomin cold though......must find some extra layers and take a flask of coffee with me.

Fish finger sandwich for lunch though first.

Well, it's not so far, as the crow flies.......driving it would take all day, but the flight is quite quick.

Fish finger sandwich was yummy - real nursery food, and perfect for a cold Saturday lunchtime :D
