I am sure I won't go anywhere near my £30 limit, bob. I am doing really well with the budgets, and don't want to undo that good now! I am sure that there will be some weeks when I slip up completely and spend masses, on not a lot, but so far so good :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Definately so far so goodBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
If you don't ever get on with the cheap mattress and think about upgrading, I can highly recommend the water latex mattress...halfway house between cheap mattress and tempur....its amazingly comfortable.
I bet though after a couple of weeks you will get used to what you have, its just the change and your body getting used to it.
Have a good dayI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Morning Hypno, I agree with what everyone else has said, any new bed takes some getting used to so I'm sure after a few days your body will get used to it. I so want you to have a few good nights sleep though.
You are still doing so well keeping things moving forward.
Take care of yourself and don't do too much today, hopefully you've got the gorgeous sunshine that we have here as well .Current debt:

Morning! We've got a mix of weather here - very cold, as Hypno said, with frosts on the cars, and now *glorious* sunshine! Hope the morning's taxiing and mystery shopping is going well, Hypno.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hypno,
I now so get what you were saying about running and slightly old trainers...
I'm now a recipient of two massive purple blisters on the inside of my feet from the Newham 10km run this morning (however I did it in 58 minutes, which for my first run, is pretty nice!) :j
So now waiting for the moment the elation disappears and is replaced by pain and stiff legs and other unquestionable horrors! :rotfl::beer: Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -

I must admit i now go round Tesco and struggle to spend over £30 unless DD gives me a toiletry list...in which case it goes a few quid over. lol
Depending on what you need (and what's near you), ASDA have a lot of toietries for £1 the minute. Please call me 'Pickle'

Well done walshy - that is not a bad time, and certainly not a first attempt! Ouch to the blisters though!
I have done the mystery shop - we walked there as it was so sunny....cold, but nice.....so half an hour brisk walk each way allows me to tick the exercise box for the day!
I need to input it now, but my phone has decided that it doesn't want to send my photo to my computer. In fact, there must be something wrong with the phone because it won't charge on either the normal charger, or the car charger either today
So I need to find another way of getting my receipt image onto the laptop. Bah!!
Went to Morrisons as nearer to where we were than Tesco - spent £22 so nicely within my budget, and got plenty of fresh fruit, salad, and other basic stuff we needed.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
