Sweet dreams - hope you are already tucked up with a good book and low cal (or not so low cal - if you're feeling naughty) hot choc so you can nod off when you feel the need and not wake up until it's bacon butty time in the morning!!
Had a bit of a week here with docs giving possibilities of worsed case senario but seems to be ok after all - so had a few sleepless nights and thought of you - don't know how you do it - I felt wrecked and that was only a few nights of little sleep. I can cope with most things but sleep deprivation aint one of them.

Hope the beds have induced sleep and sweet dreams.
And that dd's diy skills are excellent and have not led to any screws not being tight enough. No bumps in the night as parts slip I hope. Sadly, I was up, lucielle - slept until about 3, but since then haven't been able to get back to sleepIt is very very cold here - I don't know if that made any difference.
Anyway, I will try and grab an early night tonight - I have a busy work week ahead of me, and need to be on top of my game.
I have a mystery shop this morning to do, so will take DS skiing then will walk from there to get some exercise and save on petrol and parking. I have a matched bet this afternoon to sort out, and I still want to work on my budgets to make sure that I am not missing anything. Oh, and the car insurance must get done today as well.

How was the bed?

How was the bed?
L
I am reserving judgment on it at the moment. My last bed was a v expensive adjustable bed with a Tempur mattress, that was always comfortable, and of course I could change the angle of it if I wanted to.....
Then I had the sofa.....cosy, but nothing like the old bed.....
Now I have a cheap bed, with a cheap mattress.......and I noticed the difference!
I didn't sleep well, but that probably has nothing to do at all with the bed. So I will persevere. I am a bit achy today, but then I often am, so again, nothing to do with the bed, probably.
I can't afford a better mattress right now, so will persevere. It's not exactly uncomfortable, but is not the luxury I had beforePerhaps in time, though, I will be able to change it for something better. But right now, I have to make the money go round!
On the positive side - the simple act of "going to bed" is something that has been missing for a few weeks, so the routine is going to be very important into establishing some normality.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hypno, I'm thinking your body was in shock and disbelief at having a 'bed'. I do know waht you mean though. We treated ourselved three years ago to a new bed and it took at least week to get used to it.
Getting on top of my game too this week, first one to pass go gets £200 - sadly only virtual though.DC.

Ooh, yes, £200 would be very welcome DC......just doing my figures now :eek:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Right....car insurance done - I am very pleased with myself as it is due on Friday, and I have not left it until 11pm on Thursday to sort it out (or even later as has been the case in the past!).
I managed to get a fully comp policy, including business use, for £250 which I thought was pretty good. No cashback, but £80 cheaper than my already reasonably priced renewal notice, so I am happy with that.
The children will be back from their paper rounds any min, so I need to get myself in the shower and ready to take DS skiing and to do my M/S.....
I also need to get some basics from Tesco - I have £30 in my purse so will not spend any more than that. I don't really want to spend that much, but at least I have an upper limit.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Sorry about the bed Hypno- but i am sure you will get used to it. At least as you say it is the routine and just having some private space. All important.
I must admit i now go round Tesco and struggle to spend over £30 unless DD gives me a toiletry list...in which case it goes a few quid over. lolBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
