    He got an A & B in a couple of his prelims, failed one & waiting for 1 result.

    Good luck for DS highers then beanie!

    Mine are close in age but two school years apart - so we get GCSEs and A levels at the same time....oh joy!!

    Mine were one year apart. So you still get except for the first year, exams/coursework every year for the two, it's just a perpetual grind :(

    That's beside the fact they've had SAT's and are the most examined kids in Europe (if they're in school, we home schooled for a while), sorry just fed up with how kids are being treated with all these exams now :o

    Sorry Hypno, this thread should be about 'happy sleep dreams' tonight, have a super night's sleep :)

    Oh yes, so are we! Hopefully we can start getting some sort of "normality" again. We feel as though we have been in limbo a bit while we have been without them!

    Hopefully by the end of the week, we will have got the mortgage through, and I can then do my "budgets for the future" and we can start getting on with things properly......

    Slightly different system here I think se.
    They sit prelims first.
    If they fail and marks are very poor they dont get to sit higher in May.
    Luckily as yet no like that.
    Seems an auful waste of a year if they dont get to sit actual higher exam.
    But of course everything is very results driven & fails are not good for their stats:eek:

    Oooh I'm all excited for you getting new beds and new sheets! My best day of the week is Tuesday when I wash the quilt covers etc, I love lying in a clean bed and even bizarrely lay straight and tidy - only on a Tuesday though :rotfl:
